Socially, emotionally—it was a lot.

When I came back, the reality of an MVP hit hard. There were bugs (of course). Log-ins failed. Accounts got stuck. Workflows didn’t flow. And while I logically expected this—because no MVP is perfect—emotionally, it was brutal.

Especially for me. I’m a perfectionist. And CORXLY was made for people who don’t need more friction. The thought of a neurodivergent user trying our tool, hitting a wall, and walking away? That gutted me.

At the same time, life life’d. School let out. My kids weren’t in camp. My plate overflowed. And burnout crept in—the messy mix of exhaustion, self-doubt, and feeling like I was doing too many things badly instead of a few things well.

So here’s my truth: I had to pause.
Not forever, just long enough to breathe.

The beauty is—I’m back.

This summer I had the chance to speak at three incredible events (July, August, and September). Each one reminded me why I started CORXLY in the first place. They reignited my creativity. They gave me energy. And they sparked partnerships I can’t wait to grow.

So now, we begin again. Gently.

👉 CORXLY is available for testing.
We are in the messy, imperfect, exhilarating stage of building with our community. If you want to test, raise your hand. We’ll help you get set up.

👉 We’re also listening.
We’re running surveys and gathering data because the goal isn’t just to build what we think people need—it’s to build what you actually need.

👉 We’re taking it slow.
This is new for me. But it’s right. Because what we’re building isn’t just a product. It’s a movement toward systems that reduce cognitive load, protect our capacity, and make it easier to stay in the world without burning out.

If you’ve been curious, frustrated, patient, or cheering from the sidelines—thank you. We’re building CORXLY together. And I’d love for you to join us in this next chapter.

💜 Survey Link
💜 Beta Sign-up

Here’s to soft systems for hard days,
Ariana

Powered by beehiiv

Hey All,

This email was supposed to go out three weeks ago…. Actually, if we’re being honest, I’ve been sitting on it for months —because the last few of months have been hard.

I spent a good chunk of them crying out of frustration, trying to push through things that just weren’t working, and feeling like I was running into walls.

So, here’s what’s gong on: we had to part ways with our development partner.

CORXLY, as we originally planned it, hit a breaking point. We ran into limitations—some financial, some technical, some just straight-up not what we wanted. And now, we’re doing this in-house.

Completely.

I wish I could tell you that decision felt empowering. Mostly, it felt like standing at the edge of a cliff and realizing there’s no bridge.

Where We’re At Now

So here’s what’s happening:

🚧 We’re rebuilding CORXLY from the ground up.

Fully custom, fully ours.

That means no more workarounds, no more constraints that don’t make sense.

It also means taking our time to do this right. We’re aiming for an early summer launch for the full platform.

🛠️ In the meantime, we’re rolling out something that will actually help right now—the CORXLY Extension. It’s a simple but powerful browser tool designed to:

🔹 Help you remember why you opened 37 tabs in the first place.
🔹 Keeps you on track with an integrated Pomodoro timer.
🔹 Gives gentle nudges when you start tab-hopping (because we all know how that goes).

It’s almost done. Launching late February/early March, and all of you will get first access.

A Space for Bigger Conversations

Outside of the product, I’ve been thinking a lot about work—how we work, who gets left out of those conversations, and what it actually means to build tools that serve neurodivergent people well.

That’s why I’m launching a LinkedIn series on the Future of Work. Not because of this pivot, not because of any “strategy shift,” but because these conversations need to be had.

We’re going to talk about:
🔹 Productivity and burnout beyond the usual hustle-bro nonsense
🔹 What it actually means to create neuroinclusive spaces
🔹 The ways we work differently—and why that’s a strength

If that resonates, come join the conversation. Follow me here. And while it sounds great in theory, let’s be honest—it rarely works.

By week two, life gets in the way, and those ambitious plans to “change everything” suddenly feel impossible.

The truth? Real change doesn’t happen in one leap. It happens in small, meaningful steps.

I’ve learned this the hard way, over and over again. Whether it’s tackling my health with a nutritionist or chasing big dreams with CORXLY, the same lesson keeps coming back to me: sustainable progress starts small.

It’s about breaking those big, overwhelming goals into smaller, actionable pieces.

For example:

If you want to eat healthier, maybe your first step is just buying vegetables this week.

If you want to tackle your to-do list, start by picking one priority task for each day.

If you’re trying to focus, join an accountability group or set boundaries, like saying no to alcohol (which, by the way, has been life-changing for me!).

It’s not about doing it all—it’s about doing what matters, step by step.

And this philosophy is exactly why we’re building CORXLY.

CORXLY isn’t just a productivity tool. It’s a partner designed to help you break down those big, insurmountable goals into manageable steps.

Want to set up strategic partnerships? CORXLY helps you map out what that actually means: researching potential contacts, crafting outreach emails, sending them, and following up.

We take the overwhelming and make it actionable.

Our mission is to redefine productivity, especially for those of us who don’t fit into the traditional mold. Because we believe progress should feel possible, no matter how big the dream or how chaotic the journey.

As we kick off 2025, I’m excited to share that we’re raising funds to bring CORXLY to life!

Our crowdfunding campaign is live, and your support could make all the difference. Whether it’s contributing, sharing the link, or simply cheering us on, we’d love to have you as part of this journey.

Support CORXLY here: Redefining Productivity for Neurodivergent Minds

Thank you for being on this journey with me.

Here’s to progress, no matter how small—and to making 2025 a year of sustainable change.

With gratitude,
Ariana
Founder, CORXLY

Fact-based news without bias awaits.

I wasn’t expecting to send this email today. My next message was supposed to be a celebratory one about CORXLY’s progress as we prepare to go live, but here we are. The events of the past 24 hours have been a reminder of both the progress we hoped to see and the challenges we still face.

Last night, I decided not to turn on the news or check social media. Instead, I went to bed holding onto hope. Hope that this morning, I would be able to celebrate not only the election of our first female president but also a leader from an underrepresented background – a figure who could represent the true diversity of this country.

This election was a missed opportunity. It wasn’t just about breaking a glass ceiling; it was about creating a new vision of what leadership could be. Alongside Kamala Harris, we almost had a vice president in Tim Walz who could bring a deeply personal understanding of disability to the national conversation. Tim, whose son Gus has a non-verbal learning disorder and ADHD, represents millions of families who face similar challenges. His presence could have marked a powerful step forward for disability advocacy and for creating policies grounded in empathy and real-life experiences.

Instead, we lost a chance to elect leaders who prioritize accessibility, equity, and inclusion because they know what it’s like to navigate these issues themselves. Leaders like Kamala (even with her imperfections) and Tim understand the importance of building systems that work for everyone – leaders who bring not just policy ideas but a deeply compassionate, accessible, and understanding perspective to governance.

As a Latina, an immigrant, and someone who is neurodivergent and lives with chronic health issues, I feel both frustration and renewed determination. This moment is a reminder of how much work we still have to do, and it reinforces my commitment to a more inclusive and equitable future.

This is why I founded CORXLY: to create a safe, supportive, and empowering space for those who are often left out of traditional conversations, tools, and spaces. Our mission has never felt more critical. CORXLY will continue to be a haven for inclusivity, understanding, and community support. Now, more than ever, I’m doubling down on our commitment to uplift and empower those who feel sidelined.

Building for everyone shouldn’t be radical – it should be the norm. Creating solutions that serve the collective good is the heart of CORXLY’s mission, and I firmly believe that we’re on the right path. I want you to know that as someone who has certain privileges, I am dedicated to using them fully, to amplify voices that need to be heard, and to continue advocating for those who need it most.

CORXLY and I will keep moving forward. We will keep fighting for the values that unite us and make us stronger. Together, we will continue to work toward a future that values and includes every individual.

Thank you for being part of this journey with us.

In solidarity,
Ariana Rodriguez,

Founder & CEO of CORXLY

Powered by beehiiv

And the idea that it is the ultimate way to measure success and self-worth is limiting, outdated and unrealistic.

The concept of discipline is nice in theory, but it doesn’t take into consideration our human experiences. It doesn’t account for neurodivergence, it doesn’t allow for fluidity or flexibility, and it definitely doesn’t leave a ton of room for creativity. Instead, it demands maximum output, presence, and participation at all times. It is rigid and leaves little room for error, which ultimately leaves us feeling…well…shitty.

And that is exhausting AF.

How about if instead of falling into the trap of toxic productivity and chasing discipline, you reconsidered your own definition of discipline? What if, instead of holding yourself to some capitalist standard, you found a way of working that connects with your needs and experiences? What if you could get shit done in ways that feel natural and work knowing that it’s ok (actually it’s great) to adjust your routines to match your motivations?

Well–we know it’s possible. And it all starts with unlearning a thing or two about discipline and productivity.

discipline doesn’t equal your worth

Here is what capitalism wants you to believe:

Discipline = success. Success = worth. So obviously, Discipline = Worth.

So we bust our asses, working to achieve maximum discipline. We implement strict routines, adopt overwhelming processes, and use industry “hacks” to ensure we are our most disciplined selves. But then, when we inevitably slip up–when one tiny (or not so tiny) thing throws us off our game and we’re not perfectly disciplined–it’s a giant slap in the face. Why? Because it’s a blow to our self-worth.

We consider every missed meeting, every wrong step, and every unfinished task, evidence of our incompetence and unworthiness. And we develop internal narratives that constantly tell us that the reasons we failed are because we didn't try hard enough, or we didn’t work hard enough.

But lack of discipline does not mean that you are not worthy. It only means that discipline may not be the right tool for you.

We get so caught up in the toxic-productivity culture perpetuated by capitalism, that we hyper-focus on discipline and forget about our own magic. We get so caught up trying to be productive–we forget that we can also be creative, empathetic, strategic, resourceful, or whatever makes us unique.

By subscribing to this rigid form of discipline–without creativity, flexibility, or connection–you’ll eventually find yourself exhausted and uninspired. And that exhaustion and lack of inspiration often transform into internalized feelings of shame and inadequacy—hello imposter syndrome.

But by allowing yourself to be creative, flexible, and connected with your own style of discipline, you are acknowledging and taking action on your real worth, not the idea of worth sold by society.

you can (and should) do the damn thing on your own terms

If you tried to be “disciplined,” and it backfired, you are not alone. We’ve done it too: we saw something work for someone else and tried to do exactly as they did without taking into consideration how we work best. But imagínate what could happen if, instead of doing things like you are “supposed” to, you tapped into your way and remained open to continually shifting as time passes?

The path to success is not one-size-fits-all, and there’s a lot more to it than a “work hard, stick to the process, and everything will work out.” Newsflash! By following this warped definition of discipline, you’re missing out on an opportunity to work in ways that feel aligned and invigorate your energy.

But what does that look like?

First thing first, even before dusting yourself off and starting on a new foot: please, let go of your shame and give yourself some love.

If you aren’t able to keep up with a workout routine, it’s ok.

If who you once were is no longer the person you are now, it’s ok.

If your original plan of action for your business is no longer cutting it, it’s ok.

If you can’t keep up with emails and feel bad for not being “disciplined” enough, it’s ok.

If you can’t manage all the tasks you need to do in a day, it’s ok.

If you (fill in the blank), IT’S OK.

The fact that some new routines or habits aren’t sticking is not a determining factor of your worthiness. It’s a sign from the universe telling us something we already know in our hearts: nothing lasts forever, flow with what life gives you to grow in new ways.

When this happens, instead of falling into the shame spiral, or trying to be more disciplined in the same way that is not working, take a minute to listen to what you need and change shit up in a creative and flexible way.

motivation matters

If you already started a business or are in the process of starting one…you know your shit. You had the courage to do something from your heart and mind, and are brave AF. You deserve all the flores.

Not only starting but also maintaining a business requires you to find ways to keep the spark of motivation alive. Does this mean that you have to try and be motivated in the same way as when you began? Absolutely not! We’re humans! Our schedules, routines, and discipline “hacks” don’t always work the exact same way, the exact same day… and that’s ok.

Feeling motivation sometimes means invoking faux-inspiration. For the times you have to take care of the tasks that you can’t stand or have to complete a project that has been sitting on the backburner for way too long… we’ve got a couple of ideas to add to your motivation toolbox.

curate your habit:

Ever heard the phrase, “out of sight, out of mind?” It’s the reason we’re huge fans of putting the things you need to do in places where you can actually see them. This helps you remember that you have something important to do and puts it in front of your eyes—making it harder to forget and/or avoid.

treat yourself:

Pair tasks that you avoid with something that makes you feel really good! We hate balancing our business spreadsheets at the end of the month BUT when we pair it with treating ourselves to a nice dinner upon completion or doing the work at a nice cafe, the energy changes into something positive and repeatable.

expand your discipline “hack” repertoire:

Sometimes it’s inevitable that our most trusted processes just aren’t working like they used to. We encourage you to bring in new ways of motivating yourself by having a list or toolbox of practices that help you stay focused. There are tons of things you can do IRL and online to help channel this energy. Make a folder and add in your ideas!

change it up:

And lastly, don’t be afraid to listen to what you need in the present. If you need a walk in the middle of the day to reinvigorate yourself and feel the urge to do so, go for it. But if that is what you are accustomed to doing and it is no longer working, try something new and shake it up. Go to your “hack” repertoire and allow yourself to get curious and flexible about what works for you in the now.

systems help bridge the gaps

So let’s say you’ve done the work to expand your motivation toolkit with discipline hacks, and you’ve allowed yourself to be flexible with your routine and tap into your creative processes. You’ve dealt with the past patterns that weren’t working, made changes, and told imposter syndrome to sit TF down. Felicidades!

But now, what’s next? How do you move forward to not let the old and outdated ideas of discipline sabotage your flow?

You stay open to growing and you can add tech systems that support you in the way you want and need. By putting new systems into place for time management, tasks and repeated actions or including more visual aids into your schedules, you are creating a framework that does the lifting that made you doubt your potential in the first place.

Remember, it’s not about the discipline you lack as much as the support you need to be your best, feel less stressed, and show up and show out in your business and life.

Powered by beehiiv

So here we are on World Mental Health Day—which, honestly, feels like the perfect moment to reconnect and share what we've been up to.

This year’s World Mental Health Day theme is about prioritizing mental health in the workplace. At CORXLY, we’ve always believed that mental health should be a part of how we work, not just something we think about after hours. While we're not a meditation app or therapy tool, we’re working to support mental well-being by helping you work in ways that align with your brain. Whether you're neurodivergent, self-employed, or part of a big team, CORXLY is here to help you stay productive without feeling overwhelmed - Check out out post HERE!

Exciting News: CORXLY Public Launch is Coming in 6 Weeks!

We’ve been busy squashing bugs and fine-tuning some features, and I’m excited to share that we’re almost ready to roll out our public launch! In the meantime, here’s a quick demo of a couple of really cool things we’ve been working on:

And, if you want to be part of the journey before the public launch, we’re still accepting signups for our beta group at a special rate!
