My 2 cents: MarketingBlocks is a jack of all GPT trades yet the master of none. Its best feature is how smooth it makes generating marketing campaigns from start to finish. Literally a couple of prompts and you’ve got a whole campaign before you. Some components may come out better or worse than others but the tool gives you a solid starting point.

PadSplit

• Maximize ROI by renting out rooms for long-term stays

• Simplified screening

• Reduced vacancy costs

My 2 cents: PadSplit helps you make an impact and increase rental income. They advertise your listings, find renters, run background checks, and verify income and employment. Your property must meet certain criteria. But if it doesn’t they’ll help you find contractors to make it PadSplit-ready.

My 2 cents: Content sites are like the vending machines of the internet. They cashflow nicely as long as the niche is profitable and the content is valuable and fresh. Motion Invest makes buying such websites simple and straightforward. They’re somewhat new and have only sold 966 sites. Although, the reviews are positive and plenty.

Paid acquisition crash course - A detailed guide on how to grow your newsletter profitably with ads. When I say detailed, I mean it. It’s actionable, on point, and filled with screenshots. A+

My 2 cents: Another AI-powered Google Docs alternative. Type is similar to Lex (which I covered here) in that it’s clean and focused on writing. What sets Type apart is context awareness, i.e. AI predictions based on what’s already in the document. However, unlike Lex, it does not have collaboration features as of yet. Something to be aware of.

My 2 cents: It's like a bio link page, except with fewer bells and whistles. Think of YourChamp as a business e-card that showcases your social clout. One use case would be including it when reaching out to potential sponsors.

My 2 cents: For starters, there’s not a single “s” in Lili (ahem Silvergate, SVB, Signature ahem). So, the probability of it collapsing is already way down. Jokes aside, Lili is partnered with Choice Financial Group, the same FDIC insured bank that’s behind Mercury. Plus, it’s a solid online bank for small businesses with plenty of useful features up its sleeves.

Stan

• Combines multiple tools in one platform

• Natively integrates with other tools

• Used by many popular creators and influencers

Pricing: $29/month; 0 transaction fees

My 2 cents: If you have a digital product or building one and you’re not sure where to sell it, Stan just might be the answer. Imagine if Gumroad and LinkTree had a baby. That would be Stan.

My 2 cents: While some screenshot takers like CleanShot and Xnapper have similar features, I still often find myself turning to Pika for extra fancy screenshots. It has a few features that I really like such as URL-to-screenshot, code snippet screenshots, and image tilting.

My 2 cents: If your brand or product/service could benefit from influencer marketing (and most can) give Moonio a try. It's the only platform I know of with free creator search and outreach. Nothing to lose and a lot to gain.

My 2 cents: I've previously covered Simple Analytics, a similar privacy-first Google Analytics alternative. However, Beam has one thing going for it that others, including Simple, don't - affordability. You get 100K views for free. That is some serious traffic. I'll be migrating soon.

The article is based on René Girard's mimetic theory, an idea that more often than not we want what others have. Be it things, experiences, or lifestyles. And the closer the people are, the more they influence us.

My 2 cents: As annoying as they are, the pop-ups are an effective marketing tool for lead generation, upsells, audience segmentation, and so on. Thus, I would neither dismiss nor abuse them. Woobox has all the tools a marketer needs to launch such campaigns.

My 2 cents: Suprlance is the latest Gumroad competitor. It's got a long way to go to catch up to more established players. But it's got potential. The store setup and product creation were relatively easy. Still, I won't be jumping on board just yet. I'm quite happy with Stripe Checkout for now.

Growth in Reverse Newsletter is a must-read for creators. Every week Chenell reverse engineers the growth story of top creators. Each issue is packed with inspirational examples, exact numbers, and actionable hacks.

Godly.website - Astronomically good web design inspiration from all over the web. It's one of the best collections of inspirational website designs I've come across in a long time. E-commerce, portfolio, landing pages, it's all there.

LearnPrompting.org - A great resource to learn prompt engineering. It's a free, open-source course on communicating better with artificial intelligence. Although, it's a little technical and dives deep into prompt composition, hacking, tuning, tooling, etc.

4-3-2-1-0 Technique to Find Your Niche - A simple technique to figure out your niche: list 4 strengths -> 3 sub-strengths -> take top 2 -> pick 1 in greater demand -> find point 0. What's point 0, you ask? Francis explains it better than I would. It's short, too.

Plugins, widgets, and scripts for Carrd sites add extra bells and whistles to Carrd-powered sites. Carrd is a great drag-and-drop builder. But it's not perfect. Some extra functionality and features require coding knowledge. Unless you can plug-n-play pre-built no-code widgets and scripts. You see where I'm going with this, right? 😉

My 2 cents: While AI-powered TTS is nothing new, especially in recent months prime voice AI by Eleven Labs takes it up a notch. Other similar tools make you manually tweak annunciation, emphasis, tone, pauses, etc. Eleven Labs nails these out of the box. Very impressive.

Gander

• Embeddable user-generated content (UGC) for e-commerce

• Curated network of 1000+ vetted creators

• Hosted UGC-powered product landing pages optimized for conversion

My 2 cents: Social proof is probably the most effective marketing these days, especially among Gen Z. And UGC is the best social proof there is. If you run an e-commerce store and struggle with conversions, try Gander's UGC tech.

My 2 cents: With PlastiqPay not only can I pay whatever with a credit card: bills, leases, etc. I now get to spend money on anything (let's say FB ads) and not have to repay for up to 90 days. Way after I get the ROI. Granted, there's a 2.9% fee but it's still much lower than a traditional SMB loan or most cards' APRs.

• Simple e-commerce platform with must-have features

• Easy to use, fast to set up

My 2 cents: A lot of merchants started looking for Shopify alternatives after they announced price hikes. Cococart, while much more bare-bones, is a great alternative if you don't require all the bells and whistles under the sun.

My 2 cents: Useful tool for gathering professional data on a person of interest. A little freaky, too. But, oh well. It's quite accurate as long as the person has a LinkedIn profile.

My 2 cents: Audio quality makes or breaks a video, let alone a podcast. I would know, I have a Youtube channel. Creators used to purchase expensive audio gear: mics, amps, etc. to improve sound quality. Thanks to AI, all that is no longer necessary. Tools like Adobe Podcast can now turn an average audio recording into one that sounds straight out of a professional studio. That’s the magic of AI.

My 2 cents: Finding, dealing with, and managing sponsors is a time suck, or so I’ve heard. I’d gladly pay $39 to automate this process, even partially, so that I could focus on the core business. Hence why the Ad Booking System caught my attention.
