We've partnered with LazyFPL for the new season.

It's FPL focused rather than draft but should still be helpful.

They send a 3-min email packed full of everything you need to know 24h before every deadline.

If you have feedback or things you want to see improved, this is the place to share your thoughts. We've already added a lot of improvements over the last few weeks with more to come.

Gameweek Deadlines

The deadline to set your team will be 90 minutes before the first kickoff of the gameweek. In the past it was an hour before.

The reason for this change is that Premier League teams will now be posting their lineups 75 minutes before kickoff. Many users said they didn't want a last minute scramble to pick up players when lineups are announced so we moved the gameweek deadline back half an hour to avoid the scramble.

Email and in-app notifications

You'll now get an email any time a player is added to the game. De Ligt was one of those added today.

We'll be adding more email notifications back in soon, including for transfers.

In app notifications will also be added back in the coming weeks.

Other Updates

Auction and snake drafts, custom scoring, flexible formations, custom squad sizes, multiple waiver formats, Kante points - everything you enjoyed about the old platform has been added to the new platform.

Waiver Bids (FAAB)

We’ve added a new waiver format where you can bid on players!

How’s it work?

Each manager is given a £200 budget at the start of the season.

When you want to make a waiver request you make a bid on the player that fits within your budget. If you win the player, the amount is deducted from your budget giving a smaller budget for the rest of the season.

You can always bid £0 on a player if you use up all your budget.

If two bids are tied (eg. two managers bid £0), then the order reverts to the regular waiver queue order (and you drop to the bottom of that queue after every successful waiver request).

The old waiver formats are still available so if you don’t want to change things for your league you can stick with the old settings. Read more here.

Well, what a complete waste of everybody's time that international break was. England fans can now confirm that they either definitely will, or definitely won't be any good in the Summer and fantasy managers now have a sea of yellow flagged players to navigate. Grumblings aside, at least we are back to the proper football this week and are in store for an absolute hum-dinger when Arsenal and City face-off on Sunday. For those looking to make some punts on the waiver wire, here are this week's hidden gems and low-owned punts for your perusal. Don't forget to vote for your pick of the punts below!

Timothy Castagne (FUL) DEF Ownership: 29.8% Next Fixture: SHU (A)
My strategy of targeting players facing Sheffield United has back-fired a couple of times already this season, but it remains viable given just how poor the Blades have been. Should Fulham get their noses in front in this one, it could be a long 90 minutes for Sheffield United fans. Whilst there are plenty of options likely available in Fulham’s ranks, I'm picking Castagne. Having picked up an assist and a clean sheet last time out, I'm hoping the Belgian can deliver similar returns this week. Pick up now if available.

Illia Zabarnyi (CHE) DEF Ownership: 14.7% Next Fixture: EVE (H)
With most managers quickly binning their Bournemouth players following their double gameweek two weeks ago, you should have your pick of the Cherries back available on the waiver list. My pick for this week is centre-back Illia Zabarnyi. Up against Everton this week, the Toffees have recently taken their foot right off the gas and decided that goals just might not be for them so decent clean sheet odds and the occasional foray into the opposition’s box make Zabarnyi my second defender punt for this week.

Mykhailo Mudryk (CHE) MID Ownership: 28.3% Next Fixture: BUR (H)
It's a sign of where Chelsea are as a club that one of their long list of hotly tipped signings is now in the hidden-gem market. Chelsea have often looked better against the top sides this season, but surely they can muster a performance against a lowly Burnley side that will be missing their most promising asset for this one in Chelsea loanee David Fofana. Mudryk has shown glimpses of promise in recent cameos and something tells me that he will cause chaos in this one, likely returning points in the process.

Anthony Elanga (NFO) MID Ownership: 30% Next Fixture: CRY (H)
Forest have been deeply uninspiring of late, but where they have looked a threat, Anthony Elanga has largely been involved. With a home fixture against Crystal Palace this week, it's anyone’s guess as to what the scoreline will be in this one, but I am backing Elanga to return and looks an excellent option for anyone in the market for a fifth midfielder.

Matheus Cunha (WOL) FWD  Ownership: 42.2% Next Fixture: AVL (A)
This week's striker pick is more of a longer term selection with the young Brazilian still on the waiver list in more than 50% of leagues. In fine form prior to picking up an injury back in Gameweek 24, Cunha had been one of the underdog stories of the season having been at best a late round pick on draft day. Whilst it's to be seen if he starts this week or not, O'Neil will be desperate to have one of his stars back and should remain one of the first names for his starting eleven for the remaining fixtures. An absolute steal if still available.

What an absolute shambles that was. For anyone who triple-captained Solanke, Gameweek 28 will have served as a stark reminder of the trap that a double Gameweek so often is, particularly when it involves two poorer sides. Nothing for it, but to pull up our socks and go again. One problem. There are only 4 fixtures to go after this week. With clean sheets still in short supply, I'm shifting gears this week and digging out 5 attacking picks to have a punt on as you no doubt look to try and at least get a 5-a-side team out for Gameweek 29. Happy hunting and don't forget to vote for your pick of the tips!

Antony Elanga (NFO) MID Ownership: 33% Next Fixture: LUT (A)
With Luton’s latest capitulation last time out to Bournemouth, I’m targeting Forest attackers this week. With 5 goals and 7 assists already this season, Antony Elanga has arguably the Forest asset of most appeal. Last tipped in Gameweek 16 for the reverse fixture, the Manchester United youngster represents a great midfield option in a week of reduced fixtures and should you be in the 66% of leagues in which he is still available, I’d be looking to snap him up!

Alex Iwobi (FUL) MID Ownership: 20.7% Next Fixture: TOT (H)
Next up is another former pick in Alex Iwobi. Having been in and out of the side with niggles and bumps in his debut season, Iwobi returned a consolation goal last weekend and is on my radar for their home encounter with Tottenham this week. Whilst Spurs are undoubtedly one of the tougher opponents to find yourselves up against this week, Fulham’s home record should provide encouragement and I fancy the Cottagers to steal a goal or two this week.

Yoanne Wissa (BRE) FWD Ownership: 62.1% Next Fixture: BUR (A)
Gifted a goal last time out as Aaron Ramsdale looked determined to end his Arsenal career, Wissa has quietly gone on a bit of run of goals since his return from AFCON and Toney’s return to the Brentford attack. I find Brentford a tough team to call in terms of performances, but up against a relegation-bound Burnley side, I think Brentford assets will be high on the list for most managers this week and should Wissa still be available in your league, he should be up there as a top target.

Chris Wood (NFO) FWD Ownership: 26.3% Next Fixture: LUT (A)
With a threadbare squad of approximately 9,000 players to choose from, Nuno seems to have struggled to find his best Forest side as he continues to shuffle the pack on a regular basis. How many minutes Chris Wood will get this week is anyone’s guess, but I fancy that whoever does get the nod up top, they will be licking their lips at the prospect of facing a Luton side that seem to give up goals for fun. The New Zealander has already got himself on the scoresheet 8 times this season and I’m tipping him to make it a 9^th this weekend.

David Fofana (BUR) FWD Ownership: 23.8% Next Fixture: BRE (H)
Capping off my trio of striker picks this week is David Datro Fofana. It feels uncomfortable territory to be tipping Burnley players, but the Chelsea loanee has proven that he can be a bright spark for the Clarets having scored 3 and assisted once in his 7 appearances for the club. With relegation all but confirmed at this stage, Vincent Kompany will be hoping to at least see his side go out swinging and give the fans a few more moments to savour before they return to the Championship. Hopefully Fofana can do just that this week and is surely worth consideration if available in your league.

It’s the double gameweek we've all been waiting for as Luton and Bournemouth ready themselves to each grace us with their presence twice this week. In fairness, there actually is quite a lot to like given the fixtures; Bournemouth in particular will be eyeing up a great opportunity for a quick-fire six points with a couple of home ties against Sheffield United and Luton Town. Having seen my picks from last week fail to deliver much to write home about, let's give it another shot this week. Don't forget to vote for your pick of the tips!

Chris Mepham (BOU) DEF Ownership: 9.5% Next Fixture: SHU (H), LUT (H)
Whilst not confirmed out at the time of writing, our pick from last week in Marcos Senesi looks likely to be out until after the International Break. In his place is Chris Mepham, the man who replaced Senesi last time out and helped secure Bournemouth's clean sheet when up against Burnley. Hosting Sheffield United and Luton this week, there will be hope for returns across at least one of these plum fixtures and a defender for the Cherries is starting to look near enough essential.

Vladimir Coufal (WHU) DEF Ownership: 29.4% Next Fixture: BUR (H)
The first of two of West Ham's Czech twins to feature this week is Vladimir Coufal. Not the most glamorous of selections perhaps, but a solid performer and with clean sheet potential up against a rather desperate looking Burnley side and having seen West Ham pull their socks up in recent weeks, Vlad looks like a very sensible option should he be available in your league.

Marcus Tavernier (BOU) MID Ownership: 27.5% Next Fixture: SHU (H), LUT (H)
This is the first time I've ever done this, but I am backing the same player for a second week in a row. Having successfully dodged Tavernier's brace against the Blades in gameweek 13 (instead picking Kluivert), I went on to pick Tavernier last time out to see Kluivert return instead, I'm going to try and break the cycle this week and trick the fantasy football gods. A couple of cracking fixtures await Marcus and I actually suspect that both he and Kluivert may well end up with strong returns. Get one and hope it's the right choice!

Tomas Soucek (WHU) Ownership: 25.9% Next Fixture: BUR (H)
Sometimes in fantasy football there are players that despite all of their faults, just have a knack for popping up at the right time and returning points. Over the years, Soucek has proved to be a prime example of this and the Czech midfielder is going through somewhat of a purple patch for points returns of late. I can see more goals for a resurgent West Ham this week at home to Burnley and with a fixture in gameweek 29, Soucek represents a good opportunity to snap up some temporary cover.

Rodrigo Muniz (FUL) FWD Ownership: 31.6% Next Fixture: Wolves (A)
For the regular readers out there, you may have spotted a trend emerge in some of these picks when it comes to their points return. There has been a frustrating trend for tipping players a week early. Muniz is another of these having tipped him for his blank in gameweek 26 only to see him then score last time out. Well, he's back in the tips and with Fulham another one of the handful of sides with a fixture next week, the cottagers new main man up top looks a great pick for your third striker slot if still available in your league.

Marcos Senesi (BOU) DEF Ownership: 28.6% Next Fixture: BUR (A)
With a keen eye on an excellent set of double gameweek fixtures in Gameweek 28, the first pick of the bunch this week is Marcos Senesi. Having proved a threat in front of goal with three goals already this season and a great fixture this week when facing Burnley, there's lot's to like about this pick. Grab him whilst you can if still available in your league!

Jarrad Branthwaite (EVE) DEF Ownership: 25.7% Next Fixture: WHU (H)
In a rarity for me, I'm tipping another centre back this week in young Jarrad Branthwaite. Since making the second spot (alongside James Tarkowski) in central defence his own, Branthwaite has put in a string of impressive performances and notched two goals in the last four gameweeks. Whilst West Ham ran riot on Monday evening against Brentford, I fancy Everton to prove a tougher nut to crack for the Hammers this time out. One to consider, for sure.

Jacob Ramsey (AVL) MID Ownership: 17.5% Next Fixture: LUT (A)
A favourite for the waiver wire picks, Jacob Ramsey sneaks his way back into consideration. Having notched an assist last week, I'm backing Ramsey to build on this and get on the scoresheet against a lacklustre Luton side that are shipping goals for fun. Whilst Luton defenders will be glad to see the back of Erling Haaland, Villa do possess plenty of firepower and I fancy this Villa side to put a hatful past them, hopefully with Ramsey among those to prosper.

Marcus Tavernier (BOU) MID Ownership: 27.8% Next Fixture: BUR (A)
As mentioned above with team-mate Senesi, there's plenty of appeal with Bournemouth assets as they chase a Burnley fixture with a double against fellow stragglers Sheffield United and Luton Town next week. Tavernier seems to blow hot and cold, but if you time it right, this is a pick that can do wonders for your ranks. With his last goals coming as a brace back in gameweek 13, you might see this as either a player overdue a return, or a wasted pick…..the choice is yours.

Eddie Nketiah (ARS) FWD Ownership: 36.7% Next Fixture: SHU (H)
A bit of a rogue pick, I'm scraping the barrel to find any dregs of a player that may make it onto the turf against Sheffield United. With the Blades in dire form and Arsenal raining goals from across all areas of the pitch, I'm hoping Nketiah can persuade Arteta to give him at least 20 minutes to make his mark on this fixture and that may well be all it takes for him to deliver the goods, particularly given the aforementioned form of the two sides.

Hot off the back of a pretty disappointing double gameweek in which injuries scuppered best laid plans for many Liverpool and Luton owners, we go again this week with a reduced set of fixtures in which Liverpool, Luton, Chelsea and Spurs will not feature. It's getting towards the business end of the season now and every point could be the difference between hometown glory and persistent (and unpleasant) ridicule. To hopefully help you lean more towards the former, here are a handful of low owned picks to consider picking up this week.

Rayan Ait-Nouri (WOL) DEF Ownership: 18.5% Next Fixture: SHU (H)
As I've previously disclosed, I've got a soft spot for attacking full backs and Rayan Ait-Nouri perfectly fits the bill for an attacking full-back worth a punt this week. Typically in and out of the side with injuries, Ait-Nouri has impressed when making it onto the turf and despite modest returns this season, represents excellent value this week when up against a shambolic Sheffield United side that were thumped 5-0 by Brighton last week. A clean sheet is always in doubt this season, but with a chance for points at both ends of the pitch, what's not to like.

Daniel Munoz (CRY) DEF Ownership: 2.5% Next Fixture: BUR (H)
Much in the same vein as Ait-Nouri, Munoz has found himself on the right of a back five in recent fixtures and has a strong record of getting into the oppositions box at his time with Genk, scoring 13 goals across just a shade over 50 games. Whilst I personally am a big fan of Roy Hodgson being involved in the game, there's no doubt that a change of personnel in the dugout could be just the kick that the Eagles need if they are to turn their fortunes around and claim victory this week up against a lowly Burnley side that are struggling for form.

Oscar Bobb (MCI) MID Ownership: 0.6% Next Fixture: BOU (A)
Spinning the wheel on Pep Roulette once again, I'm tipping Oscar Bobb to follow-on from his first start in the Premier League with more minutes at home to Bournemouth. Whilst another start is perhaps doubtful, you never know with Pep and you only need to rewatch the youngsters fine goal when off the bench at Newcastle as a reminder that City assets don't always need many minutes to reward their owners.

Mario Lemina (WOL) MID Ownership: 15.5% Next Fixture: SHU (H)
With Cunha injured and Neto, Hwang and Sarabia likely already taken, the candidates remaining in the Wolves midfield are Joao Gomes and Mario Lemina. Typically seen as more battling midfielders, Lemina has popped up with 4 goals this season whilst Gomes returned a brace last time out against Spurs. If any team are going to offer further opportunities for efforts on goal, it's a Sheffield United side that have shipped 65 goals already this season and of the two aforementioned options, Lemina just edges it for me.

Rodrigo Muniz (EVE) FWD Ownership: 23.2% Next Fixture: MUN (A)
An injury to Raul Jiminez and the threat of new arrival in Armando Broja has kicked Muniz season into life having now scored 4 in his last three fixtures. I find Fulham a tough side to predict in terms of performances and tend to have been let down when previously making the wrong pick of the options, but I like what I've seen from Muniz and his guile in front of goal hints at more to come. Whilst up against Manchester United next, I don't necessarily think that that should be as much of a deterrent as it once was.

Whilst another start is perhaps doubtful, you never know with Pep and you only need to rewatch the youngsters fine goal when off the bench at Newcastle as a reminder that City assets don't always need many minutes to reward their owners.

Mario Lemina (WOL) MID Ownership: 27.8% Next Fixture: SHU (H)
With Cunha injured and Neto, Hwang and Sarabia likely already taken, the candidates remaining in the Wolves midfield are Joao Gomes and Mario Lemina. Typically seen as more battling midfielders, Lemina has popped up with 4 goals this season whilst Gomes returned a brace last time out against Spurs. If any team are going to offer further opportunities for efforts on goal, it's a Sheffield United side that have shipped 65 goals already this season and of the two aforementioned options, Lemina just edges it for me.

Rodrigo Muniz (EVE) FWD Ownership: 14.2% Next Fixture: MUN (A)
An injury to Raul Jiminez and the threat of new arrival in Armando Broja has kicked Muniz season into life having now scored 4 in his last three fixtures. I find Fulham a tough side to predict in terms of performances and tend to have been let down when previously making the wrong pick of the options, but I like what I've seen from Muniz and his guile in front of goal hints at more to come. Whilst up against Manchester United next, I don't necessarily think that that should be as much of a deterrent as it once was.

It's make or break time over the next few weeks as we enter that time of the season when fantasy managers cling for dear life as they navigate a turbulent fixture list. Fortunately, we are here with some low owned gems as Luton, Liverpool, Manchester City and Brentford are all gifted with a double gameweek. Don't forget to vote for your pick of the tips below

Conor Bradley (LIV) DEF Ownership: 24% Next Fixture: BRE (A), LUT (H)
Undoubtedly Liverpool and Manchester City starters will be hot property for this week, but it's worth seeing if you can sneak a couple fringe players into your teams, if only in the hope of one start and one bench outing. A prime candidate for this is the returning Conor Bradley who up until the sad news of the loss of his father was on a hot streak of form. With news of Alexander-Arnolds injury, Klopp will be needing to turn to Bradley or Gomez and whilst the odds are on one start for each, I much prefer the attacking potential of Bradley, even if only joining the fray from the bench.

Sergio Reguillon (BRE) DEF Ownership: 16.9% Next Fixture: LIV (H), MCI (A)
Certainly not a pick for the clean sheets, I'm going to go ahead and assume that all but potentially Rico Lewis have been picked from even the most remote chances for a starting City defender and instead I’ll turn to a wing back experiencing somewhat of a renaissance. First impressing in his couple of outings on loan at Manchester United earlier in the season, Reguillon has proved a constant threat down the wing since joining Brentford and with Ivan Toney and even Neal Maupay grabbing goals up top for Brentford, I can see Reguillon sneaking points in spite of the tough fixtures he faces this week.

Harvey Elliott (LIV) MID Ownership: 7.1% Next Fixture: BRE (A), LUT (H)
My final double gameweek pick for this week goes to Harvey Elliott. In truth, I battled with namesake, Harvey Barnes, as to which will be the better pickup for my own team and landed on Barnes to ensure I have some coverage next week in midfield. However, should this not be as much of a concern for your own side then Elliott could offer good value and is fresh off the back of a brace of assists when off the bench last time out against Burnley. I fancy that it's still Curtis Jones spot to lose in the starting 11, but with the fixture pile-up, Elliott may get the nod to start in one of Liverpool’s two fixtures this week.

Declan Rice (ARS) MID Ownership: 48.3% Next Fixture: BUR (A)
Let's not forget that all too often the temptation of a double gameweek can serve to be a distraction from some otherwise great options and a player I've tipped previously this season in Declan Rice returned a monster 14 point haul last time out in Arsenals demolition of West Ham and shouldn’t be overlooked if available. Now on a number of set piece duties, Rice has bagged three assists in the last 4 gameweeks and has duly teed up Saliba and Gabriel to nod home. Not shy of a shot or two himself, Rice could present some with a great route into an otherwise crowded set of Arsenal options.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin (EVE) FWD Ownership: 45.9% Next Fixture: CRY (H)
So close to breaking his losing streak in front of goal two weeks back against Spurs, DCL is now at 14 games since he last stuck the ball in the back of the net. For the managers who have finally lost faith and discarded, I think they may live to regret the decision this week. Everton have impressed since the points deduction, galvanising the club and inspiring a sense of urgency into their attacking play. With a home encounter against a much depleted Crystal Palace side this week, I can see this finally being the week that DCL returns. If you can grab him, I'd give him a roll of the dice.

Well over the halfway mark in the season now and whilst some dare to dream of mini-league glory and cementing their place in the history books, others will be scrabbling around the bottom of the table, desperately seeking any sort of scrap to re-invigorate their season and turn their luck around. For both alike, here are this week's pick of the low-owned gems to consider bringing into your teams for gameweek 24. 

Jarell Quansah (LIV) DEF Ownership: 3.8% Next Fixture: BUR (H)
Jurgen Klopp will be keen to put last week's 3-1 defeat to Arsenal behind them and continue on with their campaign for the title and what better fixture to reassert themselves as Premier League powerhouses than a home tie with Burnley. With injuries, suspension and absences rife in the Liverpool camp, Klopp may need to turn once more to his youngsters and with Quansah impressing when given recent opportunities, I expect the youngster to start alongside Van Dijk this week.

Thomas Kaminski (LUT) GK Ownership: 19.8% Next Fixture: SHU (H)
If you told me at the start of the season that I would be tipping a trio of Luton players across the whole season, let alone within the same gameweek, I don't think I'd have believed you, but here we are and rightly so. The first of the picks is Thomas Kaminski. Although double gameweek 25 is certainly of appeal for Luton assets, the prospects of Liverpool and Man Utd don't scream clean sheets. I'm instead expecting the save points to rack up here and that could be the difference between Kaminski returning double digits and one of the Luton defenders struggling for positive numbers. First up however is a home encounter with Sheffield United and this would be a real opportunity for Luton to build on some great performances in recent weeks and sound the death knell for any hopes of a Blades survival.

Ross Barkley (LUT) MID Ownership: 25.4% Next Fixture: SHU (H)
Next up is the prodigal midfielder, Ross Barkley. I've been thoroughly impressed by Barkley's performances since stepping onto the turf at Kenilworth Road, he's been a delight to watch. With a new maturity and level of control, Barkley has bossed the centre of the park on more than one occasion this season and has turned into goals and assists in recent weeks to boot. With Luton apparently able to score for fun at present, I don't see any reason why that shouldn't continue this week.

Conor Gallagher (CHE) MID Ownership: 27.8% Next Fixture: CRY (A)
Having seen Gallagher come close to scoring on a number of occasions for Chelsea this season, he finally returned in front of goal in the midweek cup victory over Aston Villa. I'm backing Gallagher to kick on from this and should he do so, we could even see more of the goalscorer he had become on loan at Palace. Whilst Chelsea have been pretty uninspiring in recent games, a fixture against a heavily depleted Palace side should offer plenty of potential for Chelsea to turn it all around for the 18th time this season.

Chiedozie Ogbene (LUT) MID Ownership: 14.2% Next Fixture: SHU (H)
Admittedly there is some positional threat for Ogbene given that he has been playing as a wing-back as opposed to up front and Kabore will be returning soon. However, given the recent performances Luton have been putting in, I expect that Rob Edwards will be reluctant to disrupt the rhythm and will opt once again for Ogbene to start on the right of a back five. With alternatives in David Fofana and Neal Maupay also offering potential, managers may find themselves in the rare conundrum of having an actual choice to make in picking up an available striker this week, a luxury rarely seen in any leagues of 8 upwards this season. The fixture this week just tips the balance in Ogbenes favour for me.

A fine advert for the Premier League this week with some cracking fixtures. Luton and Sheffield United got off to fliers whilst Man Utd lurched to an eventual victory having demolished Wolves in the first half. For those, like myself, that have torn up their teamsheets in frustration having witnessed Darwin Nunez hit more bars in one night than a young Robert Downey Jr., the next round of fixtures can't come quick enough. Fortunately they arrive tomorrow. Here are the next round of low-owned gems for your consideration.

Connor Bradley (LIV) DEF Ownership: 3.6% Next Fixture: ARS (A)
What a few weeks for the young man. Two Premier League starts, one goal and three assists and he now even finds himself atop the draft fantasy football low-owned gems list. Phenomenal stuff. For all the plaudits, it is of course worth reminding that a certain Trent Alexander Arnold is once again fit for right back duties and Liverpool face Arsenal next. However, I wouldn't be surprised to see Bradley's claim for the right back slot gifting Klopp with the perfect opportunity to reintroduce Trent to the midfield role that he closed out last season with. Should this be the case, both assets will present fantastic fantasy points potential, but one far more likely to be available still than the other. My advice is to grab Bradley now, just in case.

Malo Gusto (CHE) DEF Ownership: 25.7% Next Fixture: WOL (H)
Whilst penalty appeals could have changed the complexion and indeed outcome of the eventual 4-1 defeat to Liverpool, Chelsea weren't ever really at the races in this fixture truth be told. However, Gusto was one player that looked bright on arrival and along with Christopher Nkunku, could find themselves back in the starting eleven for a trip to a Wolves side that could well be somewhat deflated on the back of a rollercoaster of a game against Manchester United just yesterday evening. Should Chelsea bounce back, Gusto will present points potential at both ends of the pitch and a worthwhile addition to the backline of many a fantasy team.

Leon Bailey (AVL) MID Ownership: 37.8% Next Fixture: SHU (A)
Having been rested in the midweek loss at Newcastle, Bailey should expect to see his return to the starting 11. Indeed, it was Bailey who turned provider for Watkins consolation goal and having hit a rich vein of form in recent weeks and Moussa Diaby starting to blow hot and cold, I can only see Emery opting to reinstate the Jamaican to the wing for this plum fixture vs a pretty leaky Blades defence.

Emile Smith-Rowe (ARS) MID Ownership: 3.8% Next Fixture: LIV (H)
Once the shining light of a post-Wenger Arsenal side, Smith-Rowe has struggled for form and fitness in the past couple of seasons. A surprise start in midweek, Smith-Rowe did his chances of securing a spot in the side no harm with a decent performance that did once again beg the question as to why Arsenal forked out so much for Kai Havertz with Trossard and Smith-Rowe already on the books. Regardless, there are many out there who would love to see Emile get a run in the side and start to add points to performances and with a hectic fixture calendar looming, I expect to see plenty more opportunities to do just that.

Antoine Semenyo (BOU) MID Ownership: 13.8% Next Fixture: NFO (H)
Always a livewire, Semenyo was unlucky not to get on the scoresheet on his return from international duties at the African Cup of Nations. An excellent save from Alphonse Areola denied the Ghanaian a goal in midweek, but he remained a threat throughout the first half. With Nottingham Forest up next, I expect Semenyo to get another chance for glory and for those willing to roll the dice on a third striker pick, you should add this name to your list of options.

As the Winter transfer window whimpers to a close and the end of a baron January for Premier League football is almost over, we finally have a full complement of Premier League fixtures to whet our appetite. With returns from three out of five of last gameweek's picks a distant memory, we once again rummage among the bargain basement in search of some low-owned gems. Don't forget to vote for your pick of the tips!

Jan Paul van Hecke (BHA) DEF Ownership: 13.9% Next Fixture: LUT (A)
The Seagulls got their first clean sheet of the season in Gameweek 20 and followed it up with another one in their last match against Wolves. With Van Hecke also involved in the goals lately, including an assist in the 5-2 cup win at the weekend, the young Dutchman could be a good option for this weeks’ matchup against Luton. For those who find themselves up against the much more popular Pervis Estupinian, Van Hecke could provide some good cover.

Ben Johnson (WHU) DEF Ownership: 0.4% Next Fixture: BOU (H)
A less glamorous side to life in the draft lane, you sometimes have to take advantage of injuries and suspensions and with Ben Johnson, we have chance to do just that. With Coufal getting a red card in West Ham's 2-2 draw in their last game at Sheffield United, Johnson should fill in at right back for the home match against the Cherries. To be honest, there are not many good matches for clean sheet chances this week apart from Manchester City, but if you really need a defender who will play then Ben Johnson is your man.

Ben Brereton Diaz (SHU) MID Ownership: 9.3% Next Fixture: CPL (A)
New to the League and scoring on his debut, Ben Brereton Diaz is the first of three midfield picks for this week. You might have missed the arrival of Diaz to the game, but for any leagues that are still unaware of the Chilean-via-Stoke's move to the Blades, the former Championship star could be a great 5th midfielder choice.

Facundo Buonanotte (BHA) MID Ownership: 3% Next Fixture: LUT (A)
Another promising talent that Brighton's scouting team have found, Buonanotte has had some moments of brilliance in the last year and with injuries still affecting the Seagulls squad, Buonanotte should keep a place in the starting 11 for this week's match against Luton. Fresh from a goal in the cup and not afraid to shoot, I'm backing Buonanotte to score again this week.

Jordan Ayew (CPL) MID Ownership: 16.2% Next Fixture: SHU (H)
With the first wave of fallen heroes returning from international duties at the African Cup of Nations, we have some options re-emerging on the waiver wire. With fellow Ghanaian, Kudus, owned in all but the sleepiest of leagues, I'm instead turning to Jordan Ayew as my final pick for this week. Admittedly it is a gamble as to whether Ayew will make the starting 11, but with Roy Hodgson clinging on to the Palace job for dear life, he will be looking to call on his best and brightest to help turn a corner…May I be the first to say good luck Roy and farewell.

We're back! Well, sort of….Adding to the inevitable post-Christmas comedown, the FA has presented us with a dearth of Premier League fixtures. Sustained predominantly by cup fixtures since the turn of the new year, the Premier League returns for a half set of fixtures this weekend, with the second half played a week later. We look across both weekends as we review the best Gameweek 21 low-owned gems. Don't forget to vote for your pick of the bunch!

Alfie Doughty (LUT) DEF Ownership: 25.7% Next Fixture: BUR (A)
Luton have steadily improved in front of goal and rarely leave a fixture goalless. A player that has been adding to his own goal contributions is Doughty who has now racked up five assists including two last time out against Chelsea. A Friday night trip to fellow relegation battlers, Burnley, could see plenty of opportunity for the left-back to get up the pitch and add to his tally. Worth a punt for those who like to rotate in defence.

Konstantinos Mavropanos (WHU) DEF Ownership: 9.7% Next Fixture: SHU (A)
West Ham have had their highs and lows this season, but have somehow gone on a run of defensive returns with five shutouts since the start of December. Sheffield United up next and despite some uptick in performances since Chris Wilder's return at the helm, they still struggle to create and a stingy West Ham defence could profit from their woes in front of goal. Mavropanos is my pick over fellow Hammers defenders as he carries a goal-threat and whilst I've tipped Emerson and Zouma previously, I'm yet to tip the former Arsenal player.

Curtis Jones (LIV) MID Ownership: 6.5% Next Fixture: BOU (A)
Very much a second string player for Liverpool over the last few seasons, Curtis Jones finds himself yet again with an opportunity to prove his value and stake a claim for the third midfield slot as Liverpool start to look a little short with Salah out at AFCON and injuries in the midfield. Having returned four goals across all competitions in as many weeks, Jones may be starting to live up to some of the promise. I'm backing Jones for points again next weekend away to the Cherries.

Wilson Odobert (BUR) MID Ownership: 1.9% Next Fixture: LUT (H)
Originally, Lo Celso was set to be my second pick for the middle of the park, but with injury troubles yet again for the Argentine and with low-owned regular Doucoure still not guaranteed game time on his return from injury, I'm looking to Burnley's dangerman (if there is such a thing….sorry Burnley fans) as my next pick for this week. Three attacking returns since the start of December, Odobert should get the nod and with a hugely important fixture against Luton, Vincent Kompany will be hoping the young French winger can once again return in front of goal.

Timo Werner (TOT) FWD Ownership: 0% Next Fixture: MUN (A)
Having almost led to my own downfall on his debut season at Chelsea, I'm going to confront the PTSD from my own experience head-on and instead highlight the potential of the German under an Ange Postecoglou team that genuinely could be just what Timo needs to re-ignite his career. Highly unlikely to avoid rotation, it is a massive gamble if you don't have two solid strikers already, but as a third pick up top, Werner could represent significant value should he forge a place in the first choice 11 for himself.

Manchester United successfully let the air out of Liverpool's attack as they ground out a 0-0 stuffing and my pick of assorted Toffees came good once again with McNeil returning for the fourth time in as many games, notching another assist as young Patterson earned a clean sheet on his callup to the starting 11. With a rogue Thursday night fixture looming, here are a few more low-owned gems to consider bringing in for the quick-fire couple of festive fixtures.

Tosin Adarabioyo (FUL) DEF Ownership: 9.2% Fixture(s): BUR (H), BOU (A)
Adding to the seasons long list of bizarre red cards, Raul Jiminez's strange decision to attempt the world's first head-height, hip-first, jumping superblock, came back to bite Fulham as they were on the wrong end of a 3-0 scoreline. However, I'm backing the Cottagers to return to form with a home tie to struggling Burnley, followed by a trip to Bournemouth this week. With the added benefit of the goal threat that Aderabiyo brings, I'm backing the big lad for the opportunity of returns at either end of the pitch.

Neco Williams (NFO) DEF Ownership: 2% Fixture(s): BOU (H), NEW (A)
More of an eye-test pick than a sound rational choice, I saw the young Welshman hit the woodwork twice and look a constant threat going forwards as they eventually came away with a loss to Tottenham last week. Hopefully the wingback did enough to keep his place this week as they take on Bournemouth and with new manager Nuno in charge, perhaps there could even be a bit of a new manager bounce to take them into a fixture with a depleted toon army…?

Alex Iwobi (FUL) MID Ownership: 16.9% Fixture(s): BUR (H), BOU (A)
Between Iwobi, Pereira, Willian, Wilson and Cairney in recent weeks, I've done well to pick the wrong one everytime for my own draft team, but should any of the first 3 be available, they should be considered must-gets this week. I'm opting for Alex Iwobi this time as, well, I'm going for Willian in my own team. The numbers suggest Iwobi continues to carry goal-threat and I can see Fulham putting a few past Burnley this week.

Lewis Miley (NEW) MID Ownership: 5.1% Fixture(s): LUT (A), NFO (H)
Frustratingly young, Miley has looked the real deal in his performances over the past few weeks with a goal and assist during a period that has seen some otherwise subpar outings for the Magpies. With the squad continuing to look thin on the ground, Eddie Howe will need the energy and enthusiasm of Miley alongside Guimaraes and Longstaff in the engine room to carry an otherwise tired looking side through the busy festive period. Luton next followed by a home tie to Forest puts Newcastle in the top sides for upcoming fixtures.

Jean-Phillipe Mateta (CRY) FWD Ownership: 24.7%  Fixture(s): BHA (H), CHE (A)
Somehow bundling his way through Manchester City last week, Mateta makes the cut this time around. It doesn't appear that Edouard’s return is imminent just yet and perhaps with a reminder of where the net is and how to put the ball in it last time out, Mateta could just come good again when he faces a shaky Brighton backline before heading to Chelsea in what will be anyone’s guess as to what kind of performance they can expect to face there. A good punt alongside the likes of the returning Lyle Foster for Burnley, puts Mateta amongst the picks for this week.

Pulling a Sheffield United clean sheet out of the bag earned my Jayden Bogle pick a clean sheet, whilst Pablo Sarabia got his third assist of the season in Wolves draw with Forest. With an early Friday evening kickoff looming, now is the time to finalise those draft squads and get some low-owned gems in the mix. Don’t forget to vote for who you think will return the goods this week!

Nathan Patterson (EVE) DEF Ownership: 3% Next Fixture: BUR (A)
There's nothing like a collective sense of injustice to galvanise the troops and Everton seem to have been beneficiaries of this phenomena in recent weeks, turning some decent performances into goals and more importantly, points. With Burnley up next, Dyche to get one over on his former and employers and add to the run of victories. News out of Goodison is that both Seamus Coleman and Ashley Young are set to miss out, so I'm turning to 3% owned Nathan Patterson this week, who is surely set to deuptise. An assist when brought on late in the rout v Newcastle before preserving a clean sheet for 49 minutes against Chelsea sees me high on the youngster. One to watch for sure.

Marcos Senesi (BOU) DEF Ownership: 28.8% Next Fixture: LUT (H)
Possibly the worst kept secret in defensive picks this week, much has been made on the fantasy football forums of Bournemouth's scintillating form and Senesi's back to back goals, but for the 71.2% of leagues where he's still available, this pick is for you. Get him in! Admittedly, I'm less convinced than others that the clean sheets will persist this week at home to Luton, but with clean sheets nigh on impossible to call, the fixture is as good a bet as any.

Dwight McNeil (EVE) MID Ownership: 33.1% Next Fixture: BUR (A)
Returning to Goodison, we dip into the midfielder market and having picked Doucoure and Harrison in previous weeks, the seemingly endless pot of fantasy gold that is Evertons’s midfield is offering up the services of Dwight McNeil in this weeks ‘picks. Averaging 7 points over the last 3 fixtures, old Dwighty boy is in fine fettle and I'm backing him to return once again this week at home to a Burnley side that are offering up chances to opponents at a continually alarming rate.

Joelinton (NEW) MID Ownership: 29.4% Next Fixture: FUL (H)
It's been a tough few weeks for the Geordie faithful. Thumped by Everton, dispatched by Spurs and now dumped out of the Champions League by Milan, backing a toon may be a surprise to some, but there's something poetic in the unpredictable nature of the Premier League this season and something is telling me that this is the week that Fulham's renaissance and Newcastle's decline both meet their end. Fresh off the back of what transpired to be a consolation goal against AC Milan, I'm opting for Joelinton to get on the scoresheet once again this week.

Antoine Semenyo (BOU) FWD Ownership: 30.4% Next Fixture: LUT (H)
Another Cherry, but this time further up the pitch in pacy forward, Antoine Semenyo. Whilst Solanke may be the FPL striker of choice, Semenyo has quietly been notching up some decent underlying numbers, racking up 2 goals and an assist in his last 5 starts whilst Bournemouth rank 2nd for expected goals over that same period. If you're in an 8 or even 10 man league and able to stream your third striker spot, Semenyo should remain firmly on your radar this season.

A goal inside 15 seconds from Jay Rodriguez and a chart-topping goal and assist from Ben Mee kicked off gameweeks 14 and 15 off in style, before Abdoulaye Doucoure returned in last night's demolition of Newcastle. With fixtures coming thick and fast, here are some more low-owned picks to consider grabbing this week.

Hugo Bueno (WOL) DEF Ownership: 1% Next Fixture: NFO (H)
Having previously called out Bueno as a threat to fellow (injured) gem, Rayan Ait-Nouri, I'm backing the young Portuguese full back this week. Forest looked in disarray mid-week in their 5-0 drubbing from Fulham and they are on the road again this week to a Wolves side that have continued to quietly impress under Gary O'Neil. Never one to pass up an attacking full back, I've snapped up Bueno in a couple of teams and, if available, I'd encourage others to do the same.

Jayden Bogle (SHU) DEF Ownership: 1.8% Next Fixture: BRE (H)
Unbelievably, I'm tipping two Sheffield United players this week with the first in their defence. The return of the prodigal Wilder saw the Blades put in one of their better performances this season and kept Liverpool to a fairly dire 2 goal win. It may not have been enough to beat the Scousers, but up against a Brentford -side short of Talisman 1 and 2 in Ivan Toney and now Bryan Mbeumo, the fixture is there for them to show what they can do. Bogle, another attacking full back is my pick. Though do keep an eye on team news as he isn't 100% assured of a start.

Pablo Sarabia (WOL) MID Ownership: 0.4% Next Fixture: NFO (H)
The second of my Wolves picks this week is Pablo Sarabia. If it hadn't been for Garnacho's wonder-goal a couple of weeks back, I'd have probably been putting Sarabia's late strike vs Spurs up there in goal of the season contenders. One to blow hot and cold in his time at Wolves, Sarabia should get the nod to continue on the left wing with Pedro Neto still yet to return to training.

Tomas Soucek (WHU) MID Ownership: 29.6% Next Fixture: FUL (A)
I've resisted going for my favourite low owned gem in Doucoure for a second successive week and am instead turning to another to have graced the list on more than one previous occasion, Tomas Soucek. Not unlike a certain, better-owned, Scott McTominay, the big Czech continues to turn up in front of goal this season despite ongoing denigration from the fanbase. However, Another winner against a Fulham side buoyed by their midweek exploits may just be enough to have even the most die-hard Hammers fans reconsidering their grumbles and I'm tipping the big man to do just that.

William Osula (SHU) FWD Ownership: 0.7% Next Fixture: BRE (H)
Not a name that had been familiar to me until this week, my final pick is yet another Sheffield United player. Honestly, they're like buses. Rubbish at football. Well, perhaps not, but if Sheffield United are to score against Brentford, I fancy Osula to be involved. He looked lively midweek having been brought in from the cold by Chris Wilder and for those rotating their 3rd striker slot, this may be a fun one to show-off to your friends with when he bags a brace.

The run of returns from midfielder picks continued last week with Justin Kluivert bagging his first serious points of the season. With fixtures set to come thick and fast as we enter the festive period, here are five more low-owned picks to consider picking up to bolster your squads. Don't forget to vote for which of this week's picks you think will deliver the goods!

 Ben Mee (BRE) DEF Ownership: 48.6% Next Fixture: LUT (H)
Despite a mixed bag of results, Brentford have put in some strong defensive showings in recent weeks. Shipping just the single goal last time out to high-flyers Arsenal, they will be looking to go one better this week as they face one of the poorer teams when travelling away from home in Luton Town. This pick is a three-way tie between Pinnock, Ajer and Mee, but I'm opting for Mee given his performances for me in the past. If there are still Brentford defenders available in your league, grab them while you still can!
 

Joel Matip (LIV) DEF Ownership: 35.4% Next Fixture: FUL (H)
Though he may not be 100% nailed on for a starting spot, Konate starting midweek in Europe bodes well for old Joel to get the nod in this weeks runout against Fulham. The Cottagers are yet to really hit the form of last season and Liverpool have put them to the sword in the past. Should they do so again, having a defender in your side will be no bad thing, particularly one who carries Matip's goal threat.

Abdoulaye Doucoure (EVE) MID Ownership: 33.1% Next Fixture: NFO (A)
A regular in low-owned picks from previous seasons, I'm backing Doucoure to keep up his strong start to the season and return again this weekend in Everton's away fixture against Nottingham Forest. With six attacking returns already this season and four of them away from home it's well worth taking a punt on the big man if you're in search of a fifth midfielder spot and don't fancy your chances with any of the Burnley or Sheffield United boys.

Anthony Elanga (NFO) MID Ownership: 23.9% Next Fixture: EVE (H)
I'm hoping for Forest vs Everton to be topping the bill on Match of the Day this week as I turn to Doucoure's opponent on the left flank of the Forest wing for my second pick, Anthony Elanga. Forest have a good upcoming run of fixtures and with a goal in each of his last two fixtures, Elanga could be worth picking up whilst still available. At just 23.9% ownership, he's well worth the shout if you're looking to tweak your team this week or play for the upcoming fixtures.

Jay Rodriguez (BUR) FWD Ownership: 17.9% Next Fixture: SHU (H)
My striker pick for this week is Jay Rodriguez. On penalty duties and up against whipping boys, Sheffield United, this weekend, J-Rod presents great value for those in need of that troublesome third striker spot. In truth, neither side has looked like doing fantasy managers many favours this season, but with slim pickings, it makes sense to play for the best fixtures and there's none better right now than a home tie against the Blades. Worth a shot anyway.
