FaZe are truly the most dominant team OTE has ever seen, putting together the biggest blowout in OTE Finals history. FaZe dismantled the Cold Hearts from start to finish to take a commanding 2-0 lead in their quest for their first ever OTE title. DaKari Spear was on a heater in this one (along with the rest of the team), scoring a game-high 20 points on a blistering 77.8% shooting from the field 😱

Seven Spurlock has given FaZe everything and more than they could’ve asked for in these playoffs, notching another complete stat line of 15 points, four assists, three boards and two steals. Marcus Spears Jr. kept chugging along with 15 points, as he has been the most consistent player for FaZe on this historic playoff run 😤

The Cold Hearts struggled mightily to produce any consistent offense in this one but Adam Oumiddoch led the way as he has all season, posting 16 points. Alan Shi has given the team a spark off the bench as he nearly logged his second consecutive double-double, this time posting a line of 13 points and nine rebounds 🥶

FaZe proved yet again that they are the team to beat, rattling off their 18th straight win with a 90-72 beatdown of the Cold Hearts in game one of the OTE Finals. Throughout the playoffs FaZe has been a second half team but in this one they were a first half team, holding the Cold Hearts to 27 first half points, the lowest in any half in OTE Finals history. Austin Goosby was everywhere on the floor tonight, leading the charge on both offense and defense with a full stat line of 17 points, four assists, four rebounds, two steals and two blocks 🔥

Seven Spurlock had another massive scoring game, leading the team in points with 20 points on the night, which included going an absurd 10-for-12 from two-point range. Marcus Spears Jr. continued to leave his fingerprints all over this win for FaZe, logging a complete stat line of ten points, seven rebounds, five assists and a block 💪

For the Cold Hearts, it was Anderson Diaz who paced the team in scoring with a game-best 23 points while also continuing to command the offense with a game-high six assists. Alan Shi made his impact felt in the most minutes he has played in a game in these playoffs, posting a double-double with ten points and 11 rebounds 🥶

The 2026 OTE Finals are tipping off tonight with a matchup between FaZe and the Cold Hearts that could produce one of, if not the, greatest series in OTE history. FaZe is the most dominant team OTE has ever seen while the Cold Hearts have produced one of the most incredible “worst to first” stories there has ever been 🏆

FaZe has won 17 straight games, the longest streak in OTE history, and everything is lined up for them to go down as the greatest team OTE has ever seen. Only one other team has ever produced an undefeated postseason run and that was the 2023 City Reapers, a team that featured the Thompson twins, and they only had to win five games. FaZe has already won five straight postseason games and if they keep up their current level of destruction they could finish this postseason run at a perfect 9-0 🤩

Marcus Spears Jr. has been the catalyst that makes everything go for FaZe as his impact on both ends of the floor is truly unmatched. FaZe has the best defense in the league, as evidenced by holding RWE to nearly 24 points per game lower than their season average in the semis, and Spears Jr. is the focal point of that defense. Spears Jr. is top ten in the playoffs in steals (1.4 SPG), blocks (1.4 BPG) and rebounds (7.6 RPG). Spears Jr. is the engine that makes FaZe run and if he continues to play at this level he could be well on his way to an OTE Finals MVP 🏅

In addition to Spears Jr., FaZe has two other players who have made an unbelievable impact up to this point. DaKari Spear, who alongside Spears Jr. took home the inaugural Best Duo award, has been phenomenal on this playoff run, averaging 16.6 PPG on a blistering 40.7% from beyond the arc. Austin Goosby has been the team’s x-factor, as they have not lost a game since he joined the roster in early December. Goosby has been doing anything and everything in the playoffs for FaZe, averaging a robust stat line of 12.6 PPG, 5.8 RPG, 4.8 APG, 2.4 SPG and 1.0 BPG 😤

The Cold Hearts have been on an inspirational run this season. After finishing last year 3-17 and dead last in the standings in the regular season, the Cold Hearts came into this season with relatively low expectations. Well they have blown those expectations out of the water, finishing the regular season 13-5 which included a nine game winning streak, the third longest of all-time. After three straight years of semi-finals appearances, the Cold Hearts finally managed to get over the hump this year, making their first ever OTE Finals appearance after sweeping the YNG Dreamerz in the semis 🥶

OTE MVP runner-up Adam Oumiddoch has been truly exceptional in the playoffs and is now nearing a number of OTE records. Oumiddoch, who has played for the Cold Hearts each of the last three seasons, is currently on a streak of 17 straight games of scoring 20+ points which is one game shy of tying the longest such streak in OTE history. On top of that AO finds himself just 37 points shy of breaking Meleek Thomas’s record for the most points in a single season in OTE history (673 points). AO has been on a tour of proving people wrong ever since he got to OTE three years ago and now he has one last opportunity to do so as he pushes to get the Cold Hearts to their first title in program history 🥹

Anderson Diaz has been the single biggest breakout star of the entire playoffs. Diaz, who has averaged 19.0 PPG and 7.5 APG, had the greatest moment in these playoffs so far when he scored the game-winning layup with under a second left to play to sweep the Dreamerz out of the playoffs. The Cold Hearts will need a third player to consistently step up and deliver to take down the juggernaut that is FaZe. The most likely candidates to fill that role are Marcus Gillespie (12.0 PPG) and Asher Elson (11.2 PPG) although Gillespie is currently slated to miss game one with an injury 😱

The OTE Finals are Set

Semi-Finals:

📍 FaZe 93, RWE 66 (FaZe advances 3-0)

📍 Cold Hearts 89, YNG Dreamerz 87 (Cold Hearts advance 3-0)

The Cold Hearts won an all-time nailbiter to close out the series against the YNG Dreamerz and advance to the OTE Finals for the first time in program history. The YNG Dreamerz led by as much as nine in the fourth quarter but a furious rally late put the Cold Hearts in a position to win it late. With the game tied and six seconds remaining, the Cold Hearts got the ball into the hands of Anderson Diaz who used a great screen from Adam Oumiddoch to get all the way to the paint to put in the game-winning shot with just 0.3 seconds left on the clock 🤯

Diaz was cooking all game long, scoring a team-high 28 points while also dishing out seven assists and pulling down five rebounds. Oumiddoch wasn’t far behind, scoring 26 of his own, including the game-tying triple with under a minute remaining 💪

The YNG Dreamerz were without both Isaac Ellis and Caleb Jones, the playoffs two leading scorers, but Matt Allen didn’t get the memo that they were being counted out. Allen put the team on his back, scoring a career-high 34 points, including a 16 point onslaught in the third quarter to keep YNG in it until the very end. Jake Thomas also had a career night, logging a career-best 23 points to go along with five rebounds and five assists 😮‍💨

After another close first half, FaZe turned things all the way up in the second half to take home a 93-66 and advance to the OTE Finals. FaZe found themselves down seven at halftime but an unbelievable third quarter saw them out score RWE 29-6 and allowed them to seal the game and a trip to the OTE Finals in their first year in the league. It was an all around effort for FaZe but Austin Goosby led the way in scoring with 16 points while also logging seven boards and six assists 🔥

Seven Spurlock continued his playoff renaissance, scoring 14 points and pulling down five boards but where he made his true mark was on defense, where he ripped off a game-high three steals. DaKari Spear was another major playmaker for FaZe, scoring 13 points and matching Goosby’s team-high six assists 🎯

RWE’s season came to an end and thus so did the illustrious OTE careers of Taylen Kinney and Parker Robinson. In Kinney’s last game at OTE he registered an all-around stat line of 16 points, six assists and five rebounds. Robinson finished his OTE career on an absolute heater, leading the team with 23 points which included four triples made 😭

Both semi-finals series have been lopsided thus far but the books on these two series aren’t closed yet as there is still a lot of story left to be written. RWE finds themselves in a 2-0 hole in the best-of-5 series against FaZe and the YNG Dreamerz finds themselves in the exact same position against the Cold Hearts 😬

FaZe has been dominant so far and have firmly entered their names into the OTE GOAT conversation. FaZe has won an OTE record 16 straight games and over the last ten games they have had both the best offense and defense in the entire league. On top of that Marcus Spears Jr. has been on fire, as he is the only player who is top ten in all of PPG, RPG, BPG and SPG over the course of these playoffs. FaZe will look to close things out tonight with another suffocating defensive performance, as they have held RWE to a lowly 72.0 PPG in this series 🔥

RWE, on the other hand, is on the brink of elimination and with that the legendary career of Taylen Kinney may be at its end. Kinney is one of the greatest OTE players of all-time, finishing as just one of three players ever to be named as an All-OTE player on two separate occasions. On top of that Kinney has been scorching hot in the playoffs, averaging 26.0 PPG on a playoff leading 55.9% shooting from deep. For Kinney and RWE to extend their season they will need someone other than him or Parker Robinson (22.0 PPG) to step up. Javon Bardwell is out for game three which means RWE will have to lean on the efforts of Peyton Miller or Mathias Alessanco to stay alive 😭

The Cold Hearts appear to be on the verge of making their first ever trip to the OTE Finals and the turnaround they have accomplished is truly awe-inspiring. After going 3-17 last season and returning four players from that roster it was reasonable to expect that this year’s Cold Hearts team would also struggle. Well they have done anything but struggle this season, going 13-5 and finding themselves one win away from the OTE Finals. Adam Oumiddoch has been the catalyst for everything the Cold Hearts do, as he has the longest active streak of 20+ point games with 16 straight 🥹

The YNG Dreamerz title defense has taken some major blows but they aren’t ready to lay down and give up just yet. Despite the team’s bumpy play in the semi-finals, OTE MVP Isaac Ellis is still busy setting league records. In game one, Ellis recorded 16 assists which is an OTE record for most assists in a playoff game. On top of that, he also broke the career record for most 3-pointers, as he has now hit 161 threes and counting. The Dreamerz will need their trio of Ellis, Caleb Jones and Matt Allen to all perform in the same game if they want to have any hope of extending this series 😮

The semi-finals will continue tonight, starting with game three of RWE vs. FaZe at 7 PM which will be followed by the Cold Hearts trying to close out the YNG Dreamerz at 9 PM. All OTE playoff games can be watched on OTE’s YouTube channel 📱

FaZe took a commanding 2-0 lead in the semi-finals with their big win over RWE on Saturday evening. The game was knotted up entering the fourth quarter but FaZe was unfazed, out scoring RWE by 12 in the final frame to win their 16th straight game. Marcus Spears Jr. was dominant on both ends of the court, matching the team-high of 20 points while registering two steals and a block on defense 🔒

DaKari Spear notched 20 points of his own, including a couple of clutch buckets down the stretch, to go along with his three assists and two steals. Seven Spurlock recorded just his second double-double of the season with a nice line of 13 points and 12 rebounds 💪

For RWE, Taylen Kinney had another big scoring night, leading the team with 18 points while knocking in another four triples. Javon Bardwell returned from injury and picked up where he left off in the first round, scoring 12 points and notching six rebounds 🤕

The Cold Hearts hype train kept on chugging on Saturday night, as they took down the YNG Dreamerz 107-99 to go up 2-0 in the series. The Cold Hearts now find themselves just one win away from making their first trip to the OTE Finals in program history. Anderson Diaz put on a masterclass, showing off his shiftiness all over the court to put up a team-high 31 points and another team-high eight assists 🤯

MVP runner-up Adam Oumiddoch was no slouch himself, logging a cool 25 points to go along with another big night on the boards of eight rebounds. With the Dreamerz making a comeback late, it was Asher Elson who made some clutch plays in the closing minutes, finishing the night with 14 points and five boards 🥶

Caleb Jones was on a heater for YNG, leading all scorers in this game with 36 points, including six made triples, and in addition he also logged his first double-double of the season with 11 boards. Matt Allen also had a big scoring night with six triples of his own which helped him on his way to 26 points 😴

Both series could be decided on Thursday night with potential closeout game threes. RWE vs. FaZe tips off at 7 PM while the YNG Dreamerz will try to defend their title potentially for the last time against the Cold Hearts at 9 PM. All OTE playoff games can be watched on OTE’s YouTube channel 📱

FaZe put together another statement win in game one of the semi-finals, defeating RWE 95-79 to take an early lead in the series. FaZe led by just one going into halftime but wore RWE down in the second half with an offensive onslaught, scoring 57 points over the final two frames. The Bullseye Award winner DaKari Spear got back to his typical scoring ways, logging a team-high 24 points which included four made triples on 50% shooting from three 🎯

Every time RWE crept back into the game Marcus Spears Jr. would slam the door shut on them, finishing the night with 22 points, seven boards, two steals and a block. Austin Goosby filled all of the gaps that FaZe needed filled, posting an all-around stat line of eight points, nine boards, five assists and two blocks 💪

Taylen Kinney put up an unbelievable fight to keep RWE alive in game one, posting a game-high 30 points which included six made threes on 60% shooting from beyond the arc. Parker Robinson, Kinney’s right hand man, posted his eighth straight game with 20 or more points, scoring 25 points and also knocking down four triples 👌

The Cold Hearts pulled off the game one upset, taking down the YNG Dreamerz 112-95. After getting swept out of the semi-finals last season by the Dreamerz, the Cold Hearts came into this one with something to prove. MVP runner-up Adam Oumiddoch put on a show, logging 25 points which included a nice 4-for-5 night from beyond the arc 😤

Anderson Diaz posted near triple-double numbers, notching a complete line of 21 points, eight rebounds and seven assists for his best playoff performance to date. Asher Elson continued his nice postseason run, having himself a big scoring night with 18 points and seven boards 😮‍💨

For the YNG Dreamerz, Isaac Ellis had a big scoring night with 34 points but maybe even more impressively he set the OTE record for most assists in a playoff game with 16 dimes. Caleb Jones had yet another night of 20+ points, logging 23 points to go along with his five boards 🪙

The first semi-finals series is between the two hottest teams in the league, FaZe and RWE. FaZe, the winners of an OTE record 14 straight games, swept their first round series with the City Reapers by an average of 18.5 PPG. On the other hand, RWE overcame their demons, sweeping Fear of God Athletics out of the first round and in doing so avenged their shocking upset loss to FGA in the quarterfinals last season. Now these two teams meet in what should be one of the most electric semi-finals series the league has ever seen ⚡

There has never been a hotter team at OTE than FaZe is right now and they have the data to back it up. According to OTE’s advanced analytics, FaZe currently sits with a 48% chance to win the title which is over 25% higher than the next highest team (RWE currently has a 22% chance of winning it all). FaZe’s three-headed monster of DaKari Spear, Marcus Spears Jr. and Austin Goosby might be the most formidable trio the league has ever seen. With that said none of them were even the best player for FaZe in the first round as that honor belongs to Seven Spurlock. Spurlock led the team in scoring at 22.5 PPG after not crossing the 20-point threshold a single time in the regular season 🎮

If RWE hopes to take down FaZe they will need more performances from Taylen Kinney like the ones they got in the first round. Kinney averaged 28 PPG in the two first round games and was the unquestioned best player on the court for the entirety of the series. In RWE’s closeout game, Kinney scored a team-high 32 points which included going a blistering 5-for-5 from three, the first time anyone has ever shot 100% from three in a playoff game on five or more attempts. Javon Bardwell will be out for the first two games of the series so Kinney will need big time performances from his other co-stars, Parker Robinson and Mathias Alessanco 🔥

The second semi-finals series is between the two most heated rivals the league has currently: the YNG Dreamerz and the Cold Hearts. The Dreamerz swept the Blue Checks in the first round while it took the Cold Hearts three games to get through Jelly Fam. Now that these two are slated to meet in the semis, all eyes are on MVP Isaac Ellis and MVP runner-up Adam Oumiddoch to see which of these two OTE legends can carry their team to the OTE Finals 😤

The Dreamerz are led by two of the greatest scorers OTE has ever seen in Isaac Ellis and Caleb Jones. Ellis and Jones have combined to average 69.5 PPG in the playoffs, as they are first and second in the league in playoff scoring, respectively. If Ellis keeps up his pace of 39.5 PPG, he will shatter the single season playoff scoring record and he is already second all-time in career playoff points, only trailing his brother. Meanwhile, between the regular season and playoffs, Jones is averaging 27.9 PPG and if he keeps that up he will finish the year with the highest career scoring average of any player in OTE history 💪

The Cold Hearts come into this series with a chip on their shoulder and a point to prove after they fell at the hands of the YNG Dreamerz in this same round in last year’s playoffs. Adam Oumiddoch, who the Cold Hearts team feels like was snubbed from the OTE MVP, has been dynamite in the playoffs, leading the team in scoring in the playoffs with 26.7 PPG. In addition, he had an elite 27 point, seven rebound and five steal close out game against Jelly Fam in the first round. The Cold Hearts have made the last three semi-finals and Oumiddoch is the only player to have been on all three of those teams. Oumiddoch is hopeful this is the year he can get the Cold Hearts over the hump and into their first OTE Finals in program history 🥶

First Round:

RWE overcame their demons to take down Fear of God Athletics in a first round sweep thanks to their 106-99 victory on Friday night. All five starters for RWE scored in double figures as part of an all around team effort to avenge their quarterfinals loss to FGA in the 2025 playoffs. Taylen Kinney put on a show, scoring a playoff career-high 32 points which included him going a perfect 5-for-5 from three 🔥

With Parker Robinson putting up 22 points he has now scored 20+ points in seven straight games, a career-best streak, as part of a legendary run for him and the rest of the RWE squad. Javon Bardwell had 26 points and a lot of his points came off of self-created opportunities thanks to his career-high five steals 🔒

Fear of God Athletics excellent season came to a premature end but MVP second runner-up Cayden Daughtry kept up his typical scoring pace in this one. Daughtry scored a game-high 38 points and finds himself just four points shy of hitting a 1,000 points in his career as just a junior. Aiden Bolden has been a menace ever since coming back from injury, posting his second double-double of the season with 15 points and ten boards 😤

The City Reapers kept it close for most of the game but FaZe proved to simply be too talented and too disciplined, overcoming the Reapers effort to advance to the semis 89-77. FaZe has now won 14 straight games and have shown no signs of slowing down as they prepare to head into their semi-finals series against RWE. Seven Spurlock has turned it on in the playoffs, scoring 23 points in this one which raised his playoff average to 22.5 PPG 7️⃣

McDonald’s All-American Austin Goosby put together an all-around performance in which he notched a nice line of 16 points, five rebounds, five assists and three steals. Marcus Spears Jr. kept chugging along putting up his usual 22 points while also registering a block and a steal 🎮

Senior Kole Grandison put together one final great performance in a City Reapers jersey, logging a game-high 28 points which included 15 points from beyond the arc. Howard Williams was one of two other Reapers to cross the double-digit threshold, posting 12 points to go along with four boards 💀

Cold Hearts Survive and Advance

First Round:

📍 RWE 80, Fear of God Athletics 79 (RWE leads 1-0)

📍 Cold Hearts 73, Jelly Fam 68 (Cold Hearts advance 2-1)

It wasn’t the prettiest effort for the Cold Hearts but they gritted out this must win matchup against Jelly Fam to advance to the semi-finals where they will take on the YNG Dreamerz. After only managing 23 points in the first half, the Cold Hearts turned it on in the second half, scoring 50 points on the nose to end Jelly Fam’s season. MVP runner-up Adam Oumiddoch put it all on the line, scoring a game-high 27 points, pulling down seven boards and logging a season-high five steals 🤯

After a slow night in game two, Anderson Diaz came to play in game three, registering 16 points and a team-high six assists. Asher Elson didn’t have his biggest scoring night but his impact was felt elsewhere, pulling down ten boards and also logging a steal and a block 🥶

Jelly Fam’s season may have come to an end but DPOY Yandel German had an outstanding game for his last OTE game, posting a line of 18 points, seven assists, four boards and, in classic German fashion, a game-high six steals. Torrey Brooks Jr. led the team in scoring with 20 points but did a little bit of everything in this one with six assists, six boards and a steal 🍇

RWE pulled off an unbelievable fourth quarter comeback to take a 1-0 series lead against Fear of God Athletics. Fear of God Athletics were up by as much as 11 in the fourth quarter, however, stars Cayden Daughtry and K’Nard Callendar both fouled out of the game in the middle of the fourth giving RWE just enough breathing room to get back into the game. It was Mathias Alessanco who put in the go-ahead bucket, putting in a tip-in layup with 17 seconds remaining in the game to put RWE up for good 😳

Taylen Kinney came up huge for RWE in the fourth, scoring 13 of his 24 points in the final frame on top of the six assists and two steals he put together over the course of the game. Parker Robinson had a monster scoring night as well, leading all players with 26 points which included three made triples 👌

For Fear of God Athletics it was Jacob Zhu who kept the team in it after Daughtry and Callendar fouled out, scoring a team-high 18 points while also pulling down five boards and generating three steals. In his first game in Atlanta this season, Aiden Bolden made an immediate impact on defense with a preposterous four blocks and three steals 🔒

FaZe took care of business in game one of their first round series against the City Reapers, demolishing them by a score of 95-70. FaZe, OTE’s newest team, is now one win away from advancing to the semi-finals where they would enter as the favorite against whichever of RWE or Fear of God Athletics they’d match up against. Seven Spurlock put on a show for FaZe, logging an OTE career-high 22 points to go along with six assists and five boards 🎮

Marcus Spears Jr. put in work to extend FaZe’s lead throughout the game, registering his fifth double-double of the season with 15 points and 11 boards. All-OTE and Bullseye award winner DaKari Spear had another nice scoring night, notching 15 points as well as three rebounds and three assists 🎯

Despite the City Reapers loss, Jeremy Jenkins continued to make his case as an All-OTE snub, posting a team-high 18 points as well as pulling down a team-best eight boards. Kole Grandison did his best to help lead the team through this challenging matchup, scoring 13 points while also knocking down two triples 💀

First Round:

📍 Jelly Fam 81, Cold Hearts 76 (Series tied 1-1)

Against all odds Jelly Fam survived on Friday night, taking down the Cold Hearts in a thriller 81-76 to force a game three in the series. After Jelly Fam trailed by as much as 16 in the third quarter, they put together an incredible defensive performance to rally and stay alive. Yandel German showed why he was named DPOY this year, logging a game-high four steals, while also scoring 18 points and dishing out eight assists 🔒

After a slow game one, Torrey Brooks got back into his scoring groove, leading Jelly Fam with 24 points while also pulling down five boards. OTE’s leading rebounder Josue Manya did it again on Friday night, ripping down a game-high 12 boards while also logging a double-double with 13 points 🍇

The Cold Hearts gave it their all and MVP runner-up Adam Oumiddoch did everything in his power to close out the series, registering a game-high 33 points while also posting five assists, five boards and four steals. Owen Laver was the only other Cold Heart to get into double-digits, scoring 11 points including some critical threes down the stretch 🥶

The YNG Dreamerz took care of business on Friday night, sweeping the Blue Checks out of the playoffs thanks to star performances from their iconic duo. With the win the YNG Dreamerz advance to the semi-finals where they will take on the winner of game three between the Cold Hearts and Jelly Fam. Isaac Ellis and Caleb Jones combined to score 66 of the Dreamerz 98 points, making a clear statement to the league that this YNG duo was snubbed for the inaugural Best Duo award 🧹

The reigning MVP did more than just score in this game, as Ellis also posted six assists and six boards to fuel the Dreamerz win. Dereon Truesdale continues to make an impact in an elevated role, logging a nice line of 11 points and eight boards 😤

Although the Blue Checks season came to an end tonight, Santonio Waide left it all on the floor, finishing his Blue Checks career with a team-high 17 points and four assists. Defensive Player of the Year nominee Kaylen Chilton played this game with grit and determination, as he logged 16 points, five assists and a team best two steals ✅

First Round:

The Cold Hearts staved off a fourth quarter comeback attempt from Jelly Fam to take game one of their first round series 94-81. The Cold Hearts are now one game away from advancing to their third straight semi-finals appearance. When things got a little dicey in the fourth it was Asher Elson who righted the ship, logging 20 points on an elite 57.1% shooting night from the field 🎯

Anderson Diaz recorded his second double-double of the season with an impressive line of 15 points and 11 assists, with his 11 assists standings as a tie for the third most in a playoff game in OTE history. Marcus Gillespie had his strongest scoring night of the season with a cool 18 points while also registering six boards 🥶

For Jelly Fam, TJ Wal had a breakout night, scoring a game-high 34 points, a career-high, while also getting it done on the defensive end with three steals. Yandel German, the recently named DPOY, had a nice night with a line of 16 points, five boards and a steal 🔒

The OTE Playoffs are Underway

First Round:

📍 (2) YNG Dreamerz 96, (7) Blue Checks 89 (YNG leads 1-0)

The second seeded YNG Dreamerz survived a scare from the Blue Checks in the first game of the playoffs, pulling away late for a 96-89 victory. The Blue Checks kept the game close for almost the entirety of the night, cutting the Dreamerz lead to two with 4:37 left in the fourth. Isaac Ellis showed why he was named the 2025-26 OTE MVP, scoring a playoff career-high 45 points, the second most of any player ever in the OTE Playoffs 🤯

Caleb Jones did an excellent job in a complementary scoring role, notching 28 points while also logging five boards. Matt Allen came up just shy of a double-double but he did play a massive role on the boards, logging ten rebounds to lead all players in the stat 💪

For the Blue Checks, Santonio Waide kept the team in it from start to finish, leading the team with 17 points while also continuing to show off his passing acumen with eight assists. Angelo Dickerson III grows more comfortable in his role with each passing day which was evidenced by his 15 points and eight rebounds in this one 🪙

Isaac Ellis made the Ellis family proud on Tuesday night, winning his first ever OTE MVP award and marking the third consecutive year an Ellis brother has won OTE MVP. Ellis becomes the third player in OTE history to win the award, joining his brother Eli Ellis and Ausar Thompson 🥇

Ellis had a season for the ages, leading the league in PPG (29.3 PPG) and APG (8.9 APG) joining Eli as the only other player in league history to accomplish this feat. In addition, Ellis set the single game record for most points scored in a game with 55 (which was broken later in the season by his teammate Caleb Jones) and most assists in a game with 19. Ellis guided the YNG Dreamerz to the second seed in the playoffs with a record of 13-5 and will start the team’s journey for a second consecutive championship in the first round on Wednesday, February 4 against the Blue Checks 🏅

The Defensive Player of the Year award race was incredibly tight but it was Jelly Fam’s Yandel German who took home the award, becoming the first Jelly Fam player to ever win the award. German is the quintessential steals artist averaging an absurd 3.5 steals per game more than one steal per game better than second place in the league. In addition, German became the league’s all-time leader in steals this season with 122 over the course of his three year OTE career 🔒

After coming into the year as a relatively unheralded prospect, Fear of God Athletics’ K’Nard Callendar made quite the name for himself and was named the league’s Most Underrated Player as a result. Callendar was top ten in both PPG (19.6 PPG) and RPG (8.6 RPG), one of just four players to be top ten in both. In addition, Callendar established himself as an elite defender, as he was tied for the league-lead in shots blocked per game at 1.8 BPG while he also registered 1.6 SPG. Callendar, alongside Cayden Daughtry, was largely responsible for all of the success Fear of God Athletics experienced this season in spite of losing superstar Shon Abaev 🤩

In the inaugural year of the OTE Best Duo award, which goes to the best pair of teammates, FaZe’s DaKari Spear and Marcus Spears Jr. took home the honors as they led their team to the number one overall seed in the playoffs. Spear and Spears Jr. both finished the season in the top ten in scoring with both of them logging exactly 19.8 PPG. FaZe has won 12 straight games, the longest single season win streak ever, and the duo are looking to propel FaZe to its first ever championship 🧑‍🤝‍🧑

DaKari Spear was decorated even further, winning the inaugural Bullseye Award, which goes to the most efficient, high volume scorer in the league. DaKari Spear finished with a bullseye score of 90.10 which just narrowly beat out Adam Oumiddoch’s score of 89.51. Spear finished the year with shooting splits of 50.4/40/86.5 making him one of the most efficient scoring guards in OTE history 🎯

All of Isaac Ellis, K’Nard Callendar, Marcus Spears Jr. and DaKari Spear were named to the All-OTE Team but they weren’t alone. The Cold Hearts landed two on the All-OTE Team as Adam Oumiddoch finished as the MVP runner-up while Anderson Diaz was also named to the team. OTE’s leading scorer Caleb Jones made the All-OTE Team and so did the second runner-up for MVP Cayden Daughtry. The final two spots went to the star duo of RWE, Taylen Kinney and Parker Robinson. Kinney and Ellis are the only two repeat members from last year’s All-OTE team ⭐

Two New OTE McDonald’s All-Americans

Overtime Elite will have two representatives at the 2026 McDonald’s All-American games, as announced on ESPN on Monday afternoon: RWE’s Taylen Kinney and FaZe’s Austin Goosby 🍔

Taylen Kinney is having an excellent season for RWE, averaging 18.8 PPG, 6.1 APG and 4.8 RPG. In his second year in the league, Kinney is an MVP candidate and his buzzer-beating game-winner against FaZe is the clear frontrunner for Highlight of the Year. Kinney helped RWE to a 12-6 record and the fourth seed in the playoffs where they will take on Fear of God Athletics in the first round starting on Monday, February 9 😤

Austin Goosby joined FaZe in early December and since then FaZe hasn’t lost a single game and Goosby has taken control of the offense. In ten games with FaZe, Goosby is averaging 16.6 PPG and 5.2 APG, with his assists standing as a top ten mark in the league. Goosby and FaZe have locked up the one seed in the playoffs with a record of 14-3 and they will take on the City Reapers in the first round starting on Saturday, February 7 🔥

Kinney and Goosby become the sixth and seventh players to represent OTE at the McDonald’s All-American game in the league’s five year history. Kinney is the second player from RWE to make the McDonald’s All-American game after Karter Knox made the game in 2024. Goosby is the first ever player to represent FaZe at the McDonald’s All-American game. The other OTE players to have made the game are Knox (2024, RWE), John Bol (2024, Cold Hearts), Ian Jackson (2024, Jelly Fam), Meleek Thomas (2025, City Reapers) and Shon Abaev (2025, Fear of God Athletics) 🍟

In what was a nailbiter to the very end, the City Reapers emerged victorious over the Diamond Doves with a 89-79 victory to clinch the eighth and final playoff spot. The Reapers battled tooth and nail to earn this victory and as a result the Doves became the first team in OTE history to miss the OTE playoffs. Jeremy Jenkins battled his heart out in this one, logging a 25 point, 13 rebound double-double which included a preposterous eight offensive rebounds 😱

Youngster Blaze Johnson stepped up big time in this win-or-go-home game, posting 19 points and six boards as part of an all-around gritty performance for the Reapers. Howard Williams had a stellar game of his own, registering 14 points, which included four made triples, while also pulling down four boards 💀

For the Diamond Doves, Anthony Granger had a big night logging a team-high 20 points to go along with seven rebounds and three big time blocks. Marcus McDonald left his fingerprints all over this game, scoring 17 points while also registering a team-high seven assists 🕊️

FaZe stretched their win streak to 11, the longest in regular season history, with a dominant win over the Blue Checks on Saturday night. With the Cold Hearts falling to Fear of God Athletics tonight, FaZe has officially clinched the one seed in the playoffs. Marcus Spears Jr. added to his already stellar resume with a nice line of 19 points, five boards and a block and steal apiece to keep his name in the MVP conversation 🏅

In a great showing in his second time back in Atlanta, Trae Nunn logged 18 points which included five made threes for the marksman. Seven Spurlock registered his first double-double of the season with 13 points and 11 rebounds 👌

For the Blue Checks, Angelo Dickerson III had his best game of the season, scoring a career-high 16 points as part of an all-around line that included seven rebounds and four assists. Elhadji Diallo had another double-double, his second in a row, which consisted of ten points and 12 boards ✅

Despite having a true scare put into them by the City Reapers, FaZe persevered and extended their win streak to 10 with a 12 point victory on Friday night. With the win FaZe stays in contention for the one seed but they will need to beat the Cold Hearts on Monday night to seal the deal. With the City Reapers loss they now officially find themselves in a play-in game against the Diamond Doves tomorrow night for the eighth and final playoff spot. Austin Goosby put on a show for FaZe, scoring a team-high 24 points and further legitimizing his All-OTE candidacy 🔥

Marcus Spears Jr. kept chugging along with another big game in which he posted a line of 22 points and 11 boards marking his fourth double-double of the season. Kamden McGilveary had one of his strongest performances of the season, logging a nice line of 19 points on 63.6% shooting from the floor 😤

The City Reapers gave FaZe all they could handle and that was thanks in large part to Howard Williams who led the Reapers in scoring with 22 points. Kole Grandison did a little bit of everything for the Reapers in this one, notching a nice all-around line of 13 points, 11 boards and three assists 💀

RWE overcame a slow offensive night to defeat Jelly Fam 60-48 in what was the lowest scoring game in OTE history. Even with the win, RWE will come into the playoffs as the four seed where they will play Fear of God Athletics in the first round. Even with this loss, Jelly Fam is likely to finish as the six seed in the playoffs which would mean they draw the third seeded YNG Dreamerz in the first round. With Taylen Kinney out, Parker Robinson stepped up in a big way, scoring a game-high 23 points while also registering his first double-double of the season with 12 boards 💪

Moustapha Diop didn’t have a massive scoring game, putting up just seven points, however, he was largely responsible for Jelly Fam’s season-low 48 points, as he registered a career-high six blocks. Mathias Alessanco had another rock-solid game, posting a line of 13 points and nine rebounds ✋

For Jelly Fam, Yandel German recorded four steals, breaking the single season record for most steals with 52, breaking the previous record set by Amari Evans and doing so in eight fewer games. TJ Wal led Jelly Fam in scoring with 15 points and complemented his scoring night with seven boards 🔒

Friday, January 30:

The OTE regular season is coming to a close this weekend and there is still so much left to be settled. The four games in Atlanta on Friday and Saturday will not only determine the final playoff seeding but will also determine who the first ever team to miss the OTE playoffs will be 🏆

The first game of Friday night marks the first meeting of the year between Jelly Fam and RWE and also marks the last game of the season for both teams. Jelly Fam is more or less locked into the six seed at this stage but this game will play a large role in the DPOY race. Yandel German is one of the front runners for DPOY and is three steals away from breaking the single season steals record. If German can break that record it will be hard to deny the defensive impact he has made on this season and for Jelly Fam 🍇

RWE, on the other hand, has a lot to play for in terms of seeding. If they win this game they will still be in the running for the three seed, although for them to officially move up to three they would require Fear of God Athletics to beat the YNG Dreamerz in Florida tonight. If RWE were to drop this game they would be in danger of falling all the way to the five seed. With Taylen Kinney out of the lineup the likes of Javon Bardwell, Parker Robinson and Peyton Miller will have their hands full keeping RWE afloat 💪

The other major game of the weekend is the final one between the City Reapers and Diamond Doves. This is officially a win-or-go-home game for both the Reapers and the Doves, as the winner will advance as the eight seed in the playoffs while the loser will become the first ever team to miss the playoffs. The Reapers have some positive momentum going their way though, as Gabe Nesmith, who has missed the entirety of the season with an injury, will be available for game action this weekend 💀

The other two games this weekend both involve the hottest team in the league: FaZe. FaZe is on a nine game winning streak, matching the Cold Hearts for the longest win streak of the season. If they win both their games this weekend over the City Reapers and Blue Checks they will remain in contention for the number one overall seed in the playoffs. Marcus Spears Jr. and DaKari Spear are also both very much in the MVP discussion and if either guy has a great weekend they could propel themselves to the front of that conversation 🏅

RWE vs. YNG: Part 3

Friday, January 23:

📍 7 PM - RWE vs. YNG Dreamerz

📍 9 PM - Diamond Doves vs. Cold Hearts

Friday night is another big night in Atlanta with two matchups that will go a long way in determining playoff seeding. The marquee matchup of the weekend is part 3 of the heated rivalry between RWE and the YNG Dreamerz. RWE is 2-0 against the Dreamerz so far this season and tonight’s game comes with extra stakes, as the winner of the game is all but guaranteed to finish with the third or higher seed in the standings. In addition, with awards season in full swing, tonight’s games can go a long way in determining some of the tighter races. Make sure to vote for the awards HERE 🏅

In this matchup up to this point, Parker Robinson has been an absolute menace, averaging 29.5 PPG in his two games against the Dreamerz, up immensely from his season average of 17.3 PPG. Robinson’s case for an All-OTE spot has been on a steady rise since December and another strong performance against the Dreamerz could lock him into one of those spots 🔥

Robinson’s teammate and counterpart for the Best Duo award, Taylen Kinney, has also been on a heater recently, albeit a different type of heater. Kinney has been the best passer in the month of January, averaging 9.6 APG this month which is tops in the league. Kinney’s passing acumen has directly contributed to the team’s winning as well, as RWE is 6-1 this season when he records 5+ assists in a game while their record falls to 4-4 when he records four or fewer assists in a game 🪙

The Dreamerz may be 0-2 against RWE this season, however, Caleb Jones has been on a historic heater lately and will look to push the Dreamerz over the top tonight. After Jones’ historic 59 point performance against the City Reapers last weekend, he now leads the league in points scored (437 points) and is third in the league in PPG (27.3 PPG). With these performances, Jones shouldn’t just be considered for All-OTE but should also be considered a dark horse contender in the OTE MVP conversation 🤯

The other game on Friday night is a matchup that appears to be lopsided on paper between the Cold Hearts and Diamond Doves but might actually provide a little more intrigue than previously imagined. The last time these two teams met the Cold Hearts squeaked out a five point victory and things may have gotten even closer since then. The Cold Hearts just had their historic ten game winning streak snapped last weekend and in the meantime the Diamond Doves snapped their own ten game losing streak with a win against the Blue Checks earlier this week 🥶
