• 🎭 The Masked Singer unmasked Heidi Montag. The Hills alum was revealed as Snow Cone on last week’s episode, extending the franchise’s long tradition of pulling from the reality TV casting pool.
  

• ❄️ Cameras are back up on The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City. Season 7 resumed filming as the cast navigates fallout from Mary Cosby’s son, Robert Jr.’s, death, which is expected to become part of the season’s storyline.

🐍 Rob Rausch’s Post-Traitors Victory Tour Is Off to a Strong Start

Rob Rausch pulled off the win. The victory tour started almost immediately.

Since the Season 4 finale & reunion, Rob has been everywhere. Late-night TV. Magazine profiles. Podcast stops. Brand deals. Shirtless campaigns. Not bad for someone who claims he’s “just an Alabama creek rat.”

If the last couple of weeks have proven anything, it’s that the right person won The Traitors.

Rob even followed through on the most expensive apology in reality TV history. After betraying Maura Higgins at the final fire pit to win The Traitors, Maura told him forgiveness would require a Birkin bag. Rob, to his credit, actually delivered. He was spotted shopping at Hermès in Beverly Hills before presenting the bag to her on Watch What Happens Live. As Maura later put it, Rob won the prize money, but she “won best dressed and a free Birkin… that’s better than winning the show.”

Rob also found time to record audio erotica. He partnered with the platform Quinn to narrate a steamy story called Snake Handler, which he described as being made “for the girls and the gays.”

At several stops on the press tour, he’s been wearing a small ICE Out pin. Asked about it, he kept the message blunt: “I don’t f— with ICE.” He added that while enforcing laws is one thing, “dehumanizing people and splitting up families is something I can’t stand by.”

Rob may not be doing much wrong these days, except for the part where he’s apparently off the market. Reports surfaced that he’s been quietly dating someone from Kansas City after the two met in a bookstore. When asked what she was looking for when they met, Rob’s answer: “a book.”

Rob has said in interviews that he wants to take a break from reality TV for a while. But the speculation is already starting anyway. Dancing with the Stars pro Mark Ballas recently joked that Rob would look good in “sequin overalls” on the ballroom floor. And when Jimmy Fallon asked what would happen if Survivor host Jeff Probst called, Rob’s response was simple: “You know… I do love Survivor.”

Rural Alabama will have to wait.

• 🌊 A reunion for Laguna Beach: The Real Orange County is officially headed to The Roku Channel, which makes Stephen Colletti's bio line on The Traitors of One Tree Hill as his claim to fame an interesting choice.

• 😈 House of Villains premiered and simultaneously launched an official companion podcast hosted by Tyson Apostol. Episodes will drop alongside the show, with Tyson interviewing his fellow Season 3 Villains.

• ❄️ Filming for Season 7 of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City has been postponed indefinitely following the death of Mary Cosby’s son, Robert. Production was set to begin this week, and Mary’s expected return is now unclear. Sending our condolences and love to the family.

🌹 The Bachelorette S22: Taylor Frankie Paul’s Men Are Here

If your For You Page felt like a coordinated digital thirst trap last week, that wasn’t an accident.

The cast competing for Taylor Frankie Paul on Season 22 of The Bachelorette just dropped, and instead of a traditional ABC rollout, we got a full influencer invasion. Every single guy posted his own “I’m coming for you, Taylor” video all over social. Heavy edits. Drone shots. Ring lights working overtime. Even the men with 3,000 followers and zero background as content creators suddenly had professional intros.

It makes sense. Taylor built MomTok on short-form chaos. So the rollout lived on TikTok too.

The men skew mid-20s to late-30s (plus one outlier 43-year-old). A heavy Utah presence, obviously. Real estate agents, founders, current & former athletes, and a couple of faith-forward entrepreneurs. At least one single dad. Multiple gym-heavy Instagram feeds... and nobody appears to be camera shy.

The scale of the rollout was the point. This wasn’t just a cast drop. It was a reminder that the franchise still knows how to dominate a timeline. We’ve gone a full year without a standard flagship Bachelor season. After years of ratings decline, creative turnover, and competitors like Love Island and Love is Blind eating into the cultural conversation, ABC is clearly positioning this season as a statement.

They’re not just leaning into The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives hype. They’re counting on it. This season is built to capture a younger, TikTok-native audience that may not have grown up as part of the traditional Bachelor Nation. The rollout, the casting, the platform choice - all signal a shift. The OG Bachelor crowd might not be the target anymore.

💍 Love Is Blind Sent Its Strongest Couple… to Malibu?

Love Is Blind really said: we only budgeted for six.

This season had seven engaged couples (that we saw…there are whispers of an 8th), which meant one pair wasn’t going to Cabo with the rest of the cast. That unlucky couple? Vic and Christine.

According to executive producer Chris Coelen, production typically only plans to follow six couples in Mexico. So when seven proposals stuck, they had to make a call. Vic and Christine were chosen because they had “fewer intersecting relationships” with the rest of the cast.

In other words, less mess gets you less screen time.

Instead of the full Netflix honeymoon production, they were sent to Malibu and filmed their getaway themselves on their phones.

Let’s pause.

Netflix, the streaming platform that greenlights live boxing matches and $200M action movies, suddenly doesn’t have the budget for one extra engaged couple on its flagship dating show?

And not just any couple. Arguably, Vic and Christine were one of the most stable, least chaotic pairs coming out of the pods. Which raises the real question:

Is this a budget issue… or a storyline issue? Because the Mexico trip is not a vacation. It is the pressure cooker, where:

• ex-connections resurface

• jealousy brews

• unresolved pod triangles explode

If Vic and Christine weren’t entangled in the drama web, were they simply less useful to the narrative?

The Bigger Pattern

This is not the first time Love Is Blind has quietly trimmed couples that felt “too solid” or disconnected from the main cast drama. The show thrives on intersecting storylines. If you are not part of the web, you risk being cut from it.

So while Vic and Christine were self-filming their Malibu soft-launch, we instead got extended Cabo airtime with the couples that production deemed… essential.

Thank goodness.

Because what would this season even be without more time with Chris, our resident “I’m just being honest” elf king who somehow has the audacity to turn every vulnerable conversation into a performance review?

And of course, Alex, who treats every emotional conversation like it’s a postgame press conference. (Did you guys know he played soccer??)

Netflix really said: if it’s working, we don’t need it.

But sure. Budget constraints.

🏰 Reunited & it Feels So Bad

The Traitors Season 4 reunion has filmed, and the tension between Lisa Rinna and Colton Underwood is very much carrying over from the castle.

The In-Season Fallout

Their strategic disagreements escalated quickly, with both questioning each other’s motives and loyalty at the roundtable. During the season, Colton made a comment about “holding [Lisa] hostage” in the context of the game. The remark drew added scrutiny from viewers given his 2020 stalking case involving ex Cassie Randolph, which resulted in a restraining order that was later dropped. The feud became one of the defining arcs of the season.

Post-Season Escalation

After the reunion filmed, Lisa posted a TikTok referencing what went down and wrote that she “took care of it,” immediately sparking speculation that the taping was explosive. Storm-out rumors followed, and fans later noticed that Colton had unfollowed her on Instagram. She eventually clarified in interviews that while emotions ran high, the situation was not quite as dramatic as some headlines suggested.

The Season 4 finale and reunion will stream on Peacock next Thursday night (2/26), with the reunion dropping immediately after the finale.

Happy Valentine’s Day weekend. Bracketology started as a fantasy platform strictly for The Bachelor franchise (shout out to our OGs from the ‘Bach Bracket’ days!), so the ‘dating & romance’ category of reality TV will always have a special place in my heart. 🪩 DWTS Said “Big Announcement”… and Actually Meant It

At first, we were underwhelmed.

Earlier this week, ABC teased a “major” Dancing With the Stars announcement. Naturally, fans assumed something big. Instead, they announced the first-ever DWTS fan convention. Collective reaction: Oh. Cute.

The 3-day event will take place in Palm Springs, California, from Friday, July 31, through Sunday, August 2, 2026. It’ll feature live panels, meet-and-greets, behind-the-scenes stories, and interactive ballroom moments with pros and celebrities. Think BravoCon for all things Mirrorball.

Will it be cool for the people who get to go? Sure. Was it the earth-shattering shakeup people expected? Not exactly.

But the sequel announcement delivered.

Just days after the hyped-up rollout of the fan convention, the real announcement we were waiting for officially dropped.

BIG NEWS. DWTS is launching a spinoff series called The Next Pro, a competition show designed to find the next professional dancer for the main lineup.

What is The Next Pro?

Instead of celebrities competing for the Mirrorball, aspiring pros will battle it out for a coveted spot on DWTS. The dancers will live together in a house while competing in an intense audition process to select a winner. The best part? Robert Irwin is reportedly in talks to host.

When would it air?

No official premiere date yet, but reporting suggests it’s likely to air this summer on ABC & Hulu, which would allow plenty of time for the new Pro to fold into the Fall 2026 DWTS season.

Why do we love this for the franchise?

The convention is clearly a money play. It rewards the hardcore fans who can trek out to Palm Springs, and we love that for them. But a full-scale TV expansion of the DWTS universe is something we can all enjoy. DWTS pros are already stars and basically have fandoms that rival the celebrities they’re paired with. Turning the pro casting process into television gets fans invested from day one, and gives us yet another reason to tune in come fall.

Consider us officially re-whelmed. Guess we’ll see you this summer!

🔥 Inside Survivor 50’s Fan-Fueled Season

The 50th season of Survivor kicks off this month, with CBS celebrating the milestone by giving us a returner season loaded with Survivor icons and familiar faces. This time, the game is officially In the Hands of the Fans.

Last year, viewers were asked to vote on a variety of in-game elements that would impact Season 50. Yes, the fans most likely voted to keep idols. Yes, Jeff Probst is still very committed to saying “Billie Eilish Boomerang Idol” out loud on television. We all make our choices.

Leading up to the premiere, CBS has also launched a real-world Hidden Immunity Idol hunt tied to the milestone season. From January 26 through February 21, the show has been dropping daily videos, puzzles, and hidden references that lead fans to 50 idols hidden across all 50 U.S. states.

Fans have been working together online to decode clues and narrow down locations. Once on site, participants must complete an additional challenge to officially find the idol. This is not first come, first serve. Anyone who arrives during the designated window, scans the QR code, and takes a photo with the idol can submit an entry for a chance to win the grand prize: a chance to attend the live Season 50 finale in Los Angeles, which fans also voted to bring back after years of pre-taped endings.

Does lining up for hours to pose with an idol in front of a branded backdrop hit the same as finding one buried deep in the Fijian jungle? Probably not. But credit to CBS for putting viewers at the forefront this season. Safe to say the show would not have made it to 25 years and counting without the dedication of its fans.

🏰 I Sense Some Awkwardness in My Turret

We’ll give everyone time to catch up before we dive into spoilers from last night’s episode of The Traitors, but it’s safe to say there was already no love lost in the turret after last week’s banishment.

While the drama itself happened more than six months ago during filming, tensions have been running high on social media this past week as fans watched the alliance between Rob Rausch and Candiace Dillard Bassett start to unravel on screen.

After a fan posted a video accusing Rob of being a “boy’s boy” who struggles to work with women, Rob jumped into the comments to call the take “ridiculous.” Less than ten minutes later, Candiace replied with a simple “is it?” Yikes. Murder victims? Buried. The hatchet? Not so much.

In other Traitors drama, Kristen Kish took to Instagram earlier this week to call out a Traitors edit that she believes unfairly downplays her & her fellow limited-screen-time Faithfuls’ strategic game play. When in doubt, blame the edit.

• It’s officially the end of an era on The Great British Bake Off. Prue Leith is stepping away, and her replacement has been announced. Cautiously open-minded, but it won’t feel the same without Prue.

• Survivor launched a nationwide idol hunt tied to Season 50 this week, sending fans across the country in search of clues. Demand was high enough to crash the CBS website shortly after launch.

• Love Is Blind is coming off its least successful season yet, with none of the Season 9 couples making it to two “I dos.” This week, the show revealed the Season 10 cast and announced the next setting will be Ohio. Not a city. The entire state.

🏰 When The Traitors Drama Escapes the Castle

📲 Have you joined The Traitors fantasy league? It’s not too late.

The Traitors had an unusually loud off-screen week, proving that for this cast, the game did not end when they left the castle.

Last week’s Episode 6 was fiery, but things escalated when Lisa Rinna publicly called out Colton Underwood on Threads, resurfacing his very real and very serious stalking history. Bachelor Nation may remember Colton’s 2019 season for the now-infamous fence jump after his front-runner Cassie Randolph left the show. The two dated briefly, but in 2020, Cassie was granted a restraining order after alleging that Colton stalked her and placed a tracking device on her car.

He credited the show with helping surface unresolved trauma that ultimately led to his autism diagnosis, and accused Dorinda Medley of saying “truly terrible things” that never made it to air.

The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives is gearing up for its March 12 return, and the Season 4 teaser suggests the fallout from last year is far from settled. At the center of it all is Taylor Frankie Paul, whose profile has only grown since last season aired. Outside of Mormon Wives, Taylor has been busy wrapping a very different reality TV chapter. She confirmed in late December that she finished filming her season of The Bachelorette, teasing that she “can’t wait to talk all about it.” Her season will premiere Sunday, March 22, 2026 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC, moving the franchise to Sunday nights after years of Bachelor Mondays.

Taylor’s casting has already split Bachelor Nation. Some longtime fans see the choice as a clear deviation from tradition, while others say they have not watched The Bachelorette in years and are planning to tune back in specifically because Taylor has proven to be good TV.

By the time she starts handing out roses, many viewers will have already binge-watched one version of Taylor navigating her friendships that predate fame. The Bachelorette-version is about to play out in real time. Love the casting decision or hate it, people are already talking. 🏈 Golden Bachelor Mel Owens, Deep Dive

Born in Detroit in 1958, Mel Owens had athletic talent in his blood – his father Walter played professional baseball for the Detroit Stars in the Negro American League before coaching baseball at Northern Illinois University.

The 66-year-old retired NFL linebacker has been announced as Season 2's Golden Bachelor, bringing a different perspective than his predecessor.

According to ABC, Mel was drafted by the Los Angeles Rams in the first round (9th overall) of the 1981 NFL Draft after attending the University of Michigan. During his impressive 9-season career, he recorded 453 tackles, 26.5 sacks, and four interceptions before retiring in 1989.

After hanging up his cleats, Mel pursued a law degree from the University of California, Hastings College of Law and became a founding partner at Namanny, Byrne & Owens in California. His legal practice focuses on "helping others, particularly those seeking justice for sports-related injuries," keeping him connected to athletics in his second career.

Unlike Season 1's widowed Gerry Turner, Mel comes to the show following a divorce. He was married to Fabiana Pimentel for 25 years before they split in 2020. During their marriage, they welcomed two sons, who Mel says are "getting ready to go off to college" and supported his Bachelor journey.

When announcing Mel as the new lead, host Jesse Palmer described him as "super handsome, very charming, very intelligent, and very successful." 🏝️ Boston Rob Steps Away From Competitive Reality TV

Reality TV legend Boston Rob Mariano is taking a hiatus from competition shows. After an early elimination from The Traitors season 3, the 49-year-old tells PEOPLE he's stepping back from the competitive reality scene for now.

The six-time Survivor participant promises fans that he will "be on your screens again soon." Mariano remains grateful for his longevity in the industry, saying, "I truly feel like I'm the luckiest person in the world. I didn't expect to be still doing it after 25 years.” (See Boston Rob then and now photos).

Mariano is currently competing in The Irish Poker Open sponsored by PokerStars in Dublin, where he's applying his reality TV strategy skills to the poker table. "A lot of the same skill set you use in these competition reality shows transfer over to poker," he explains.

His balanced approach to competition serves him well in both arenas. "The key is to be balanced," he says. "It's hard to do, especially if you're losing. Generally, people tend to play worse than if they're winning."

The Massachusetts native has enjoyed seeing new generations discover his previous shows, including fans who have dubbed his early Survivor self "Hot Rob" - a nickname that came up during The Traitors reunion last month.

Even his wife Amber Brkich and their four daughters "love it," Mariano says. "They're pretty supportive of the whole thing. We all get a good laugh out of it for sure."

The third round of voting categories for 'Survivor 50: In the Hands of the Fans' now lets viewers decide on controversial game elements including whether twists should remain part of the gameplay. Fans can now cast their round three ballots starting this week, as of Survivor 48's latest episode.

Beyond the polarizing twists debate, fans will also decide on immunity necklace designs and whether tribes should be given supplies or be forced to earn them through competitions.

This follows previous voting rounds that determined tribe colors, rice allocation, fire-making challenges, tribe swaps, and the power of advantages. All voting results will remain under wraps until the milestone 50th season premieres in February 2026.

💔 Brittany Cartwright: “Make Me the Bachelorette!”

The Valley star Brittany Cartwright declares she's officially on the dating market a year after separating from Jax Taylor — and she's not opposed to finding love on camera. "Mama is ready to date!" the 36-year-old Kentucky native revealed.

The reality star, who filed for divorce in August following her February 2024 separation from Taylor after 10 years together, admits she's been on a "couple dates here and there" but nothing substantial has materialized.

💍 Who Did Grant Ellis Choose on The Bachelor?

Grant Ellis completed his emotional journey as he chose Juliana Pasquarosa in a tear-filled Bachelor finale. The 31-year-old day trader got down on one knee with a signature Neil Lane emerald-cut ring, proposing to the 28-year-old client service associate from Newton, Massachusetts.

"I can see a forever love between us," Ellis confessed during Monday's finale before popping the question to an emotional Juliana. His big moment came after a tense goodbye with runner-up Litia Garr, who confronted him with "You're different than I thought" before walking away.

While Bachelor Nation celebrated this seemingly happy ending, the franchise dropped another bombshell.
