The Electronic Cash Conference is happening again!

The two-day event, scheduled to take place on October 4th, 2025 from 8:00 am CET and to conclude on October 5th, 2025 at 5:00 pm CET in Barcelona, Spain, at the Hotel NH Sants Barcelona will be the third edition of the Electronic Cash Conference.

Another smoothly operated soirée with hundreds of VIP guests, another TixTown success as official ticket provider! This comes just two weeks after TixTown's successful launch at the International Emmy Awards’ Semi-Final Round of Judging Cocktail Prolongé Berlin 2025 where the longest wait time in the queue at check-in was just 5 minutes compared to almost 2 hours at last year’s edition.

On Wednesday, July 23rd, media network “At the End of the Day” (AEDT.de) hosted its annual summer festival and 23rd anniversary. Organized by JCW Marketing and AEDT and presented by Kundler, Allianz Generalversammlung, and David Patrick, the AEDT Sommerfest 2025 took place at Pier 13 in Berlin.

The red carpet event included musical performances from French-Caribbean DJ Daybee Dee, German trumpeter Ferry Grott, along with several celebrity live acts. Seasoned German actor Karsten Speck was also on duty as moderator, keeping the crowd entertained throughout the night.

Over 200 guests checked in with everyone through the door well before the beautiful sunset appeared, as the VIP guests soaked in the atmosphere which was lit with vibrant orangy and pinkish colors.

Thrilled by the positive back-to-back outcome (iEmmy Awards and AEDT events) in terms of the event creation, invitation, and ultra fast and safe guest check-ins experience, organizer Jan Christoph Wagner described his leap into TixTown as “coming out of the stone age”.

Berlin, Germany – 08 July 2025: Innovative event management app TixTown made an impressive debut at the International Emmy Awards’ Semi-Final Round of Judging Cocktail Prolongé Berlin 2025 on Monday, July 7th. The Los Angeles-originated TixTown event management app was selected as the official ticket platform for the event organized by elite event planner JCW Marketing in partnership with Ziegler Film and Graf Film. The prestigious occasion, which took place at the Schlosshotel Berlin, was graced by some of Germany’s finest TV personalities such as veteran actors and actresses Heinz Hoenig, Dominic Raacke, Tina Ruland and Enie van de Meiklokjes. 

TixTown’s app launch proved to be a resounding success, setting a new benchmark for efficiency and user experience at high-profile gatherings. Jan Christoph Wagner, founder and CEO of JCW Marketing, lauded the significant impact TixTown had on the guest experience at the iEmmy Awards’ Semi-Final Round of Judging Cocktail Prolongé Berlin 2025, declaring: 

“It was a great success. Check-in was awesome and really quick! Quick like never before so everybody was really surprised.

A remarkable 447 VIP guests were checked in via TixTown. Between scanning each attendee’s ticket QR code, allocating them the event’s VIP wrist band, and showing them directions, check-ins averaged an 8-second wait time between guests.

At last year’s edition, some guests had to wait up to 2 hours in lane. This year was different. The longest wait time was 5 minutes as the queue remained short throughout. 

“We’ve spent really a lot of time on making that happen so I’m happy our efforts paid off,” TixTown Co-founder and Chief Technology Officer Tobias Ruck revealed. 

Having built one of the fastest indexers in the crypto space, the Liechtenstein-based software engineer possesses key knowledge and experience to turn TixTown into the undisputed fastest event app in the world. He stated:

“In the foreseeable future, our app will be even faster and this will create an unmatched user experience.” 

Behind the scenes, the successful launch of TixTown’s app was the result of more than three years of rigorous prototyping, culminating in an intense final month of essential feature additions, meticulous tests, and revisions. Addressing technical aspects critical to the smooth check-in process, CTO Tobias explained:

“Normally, it would take a lot of time and work for the registration staff at the check-in point to get the names and correct spelling of the guests and to find them in the paper guest list.

“But this time, 95% or more of the work was done before the event. It was so smooth because there was nothing much left to do at the event itself. Main guests as well as +1s each got their own QR code.”

Revealing exciting new features to expect during the next few months, Tobias announced:
