Reiki Level 2 💜- April 25: In level 2 you will receive an attunement to raise your energy vibration, heal the emotional body and old traumas of the past. We learn ancient healing symbols that we can use for more powerful healing, emotional healing and distance healing. Level 2 is about creating a stronger connection to your higher self and releasing destructive human conditioning that has gotten in the way.

Reiki Level 3 🌈- May 30th: In Reiki Level 3 we learn the process of passing attunements and teaching. You will be attuned to the master symbol and it's use. The focus in Level 3 is connecting the Universal truth(your soul consciousness) to your human consciousness. We learn to clean and charge crystals and stones.

Card 1 - MELCHIZEDEK - Higher Learning - You have gained knowledge from experience. Further inner study is now required for continued progress.

This message encourages you to reflect on your valuable knowledge. It's like having grown a beautiful lemon and now getting to enjoy its juice. What aspects of your wisdom need deeper exploration?

Reflect on your insights and delve deeper. Consider how they apply to various situations in life. Do they remain valid when faced with significant challenges or difficulties? If not, is it true wisdom? If it withstands the test of time and adversity, learn to embody it and express it through all your actions.

Card 2 - KUTHUMI - Cloak of Wisdom - You already know the answer you seek. Trust what you know.

What a beautiful message for you to receive. You are holding the key to unlock the answer you have been seeking. It is already here, within you. All you need to do is go inward now and receive the answer. Let it rise from a sense of knowing. Allow the enlightening "aha" moments to have breathing room so they can fly and soar into your life. Release the pressure, stop seeking, and receive it.

Card 3 - LADY VENUS - Downloads and Understanding - Truth is being revealed. Deep insights are coming from the heavens and the astral realm.

This card asks you to open yourself to the great beyond, to open your mind to something that is beyond the mind, to receive your spirit. Tune into the frequency of the universe and allow it to reveal the truth to you.

This can happen through meditation, creating a quiet moment, journaling, reflection, or simply relaxation. The answer comes through surrender, not force. The more we force, the more we block it. The more we surrender, the easier it will flow to you.

Pausing for Reflection

Winter is traditionally a time to turn inward, to rest and reflect, to gain clarity about what lies ahead on our paths. It is a time to assess where we are and what changes we may need to make to align more fully with who we are today. This can be challenging, especially living in the cold (though not so cold currently) and long winters of Canada.

Are we expected to turn inward for six months, without any palpable progress or deep effort exerted? Are we really like black bears meant to hibernate until spring? There is no definitive answer here, just a need to listen to your own body and its needs. What feels right to you is what is right on your path.

Although we can't completely do nothing for six months, I have found that it is greatly beneficial to society and to ourselves to do nothing when we can. Doing nothing brings about the greatest "something" there is. It allows us to feel our deep value beyond our "productive" selves. Doing nothing gives our busy minds a true restful respite. It prevents burnout, calms our nervous system, and most importantly, it opens a doorway. This doorway is an empty space, like a cloudless and clear sky. It allows us to connect to our intuition, our deep well of knowing that is always trying to shine its wisdom through the clouds of our thought-filled mind. This empty space offers a feeling of peace that is inaccessible when living life through the lens of a busy mind. It lets us move into the space that holds the thoughts of the busy mind, to move beyond it.

For many people, doing nothing brings up stress, resistance, and an itching feeling that "I just need to do something." Doing nothing has a close companion you can call on if it is hard for you to find stillness: doing less. Doing less can mean doing more simple things, like listening to a guided meditation, reading, doing a puzzle, or going for a slow walk in nature in silence. All of these activities bring us closer to this spacious awareness within us, this empty cloudless sky, where we can find the true rest that winter calls us toward.

This Saturday, on Valentine's Day, I am doing an act of deep self-love❤️ by attending a two-week meditation retreat. No phone, no internet, just me, my thoughts, and an empty, spacious inner landscape waiting for me to reconnect with. I hope to gain deeper insight into awareness of awareness itself, the nature of suffering and non-suffering, and cultivating a more mindful way of living. Not only for myself, but to share with others through how I show up for them, so I can be more present, more open-hearted, and aligned with the deep self when speaking and acting. I hope you are able to cultivate your own little ways of turning inward and tending to your sacred self.

We start the process with a video chat with Carrie to discuss your meditation needs, allowing her to connect with you and understand what resonates with your spiritual journey at this time.

Based on what you have shared, and what has been channeled and received, Carrie will prepare a meditation script and share it with you for feedback and any alterations before recording. She will also provide you with 5-10 musical options tailored to your preferences, giving you the final decision on background music.

It is a spiritual evolution toward inner peace and unattachment to suffering as we shed the ego "I" and discover the universal "I am". The meditations are based in awareness of awareness, presence, and surrendering. Our meditations are daily at 7am MST.

Happy Halloween and Samhain: Spiritually, it represents themes of transformation, death, rebirth, and the confrontation of fears. The veil is thinner between the 3D and 5D. Between you and your ancestors, between your mind and your spirit.

Fire Cupping Is Back 🔥

I have just added 60 and 75 minute fire cupping massage back to my calendar (claimable for those with massage benefits). Fire cupping is a great way to release tension, knots, fascial restrictions and energetic blockages. We can go from light to deep levels of suction, and I use them moving and still on the body for the greatest benefit.

There is just something so special with bringing fire into our lives to ignite our passions and increase our potency. Although in fire cupping the flame doesn’t actually touch the body, it is only used to take the oxygen out of the cup so that there is suction. Through this suction it stretches the tissues of the body, and pulls toxins to the surface (leaving cupping marks if we hold a lot of tension).

Channeled Message

Sometimes it pays to resist the pull: The times when we are being pushed towards something that doesn’t make our heart sing, and instead makes it contract.

What about when we are pulled towards something and are resisting it, even though we know it will be a good thing? Why do we resist things that bring us joy? Things that bring us peace? Why do resist growth? (growth is more obvious as it can create discomfot). But, all of these are pulling us onto the path of purpose, the path of alignment.

Where are you resisting the flow? What are you being called to right now that wants to enhance your life, but that you are stopping? Can you just let go, and let the current take you?

Card 2 - HOPE - Hope is always there, even if we can’t see it. Optimistic expectations can help change a negative situation into a positive one.

Hope is a practice of releasing what you think you know, and jumping hard-nipped naked into the sea of the unknown, trusting that you won’t be an appetizer to a great white shark. It is trusting that there is a loving force that is always there to catch you. When you work on healing your life, if you graze the mindset of positivity and optimism, you're sprinkled with hope.

Contentment can be found woven within the fabric of life, we only need to quiet our mind to discover the moments of joy. If you’ve been folowing me for some time, you may have noticed that the live events and meditations I create are all on the free meditation app: Insight Timer. It’s free and there are no ads. Oracle Card Pull

I was speaking with a friend the other day who shared how they like to choose their card. They said they always choose the first one. I giggled thinking “that’s not how you choose a card.” But, that was an unskillful thought. There is no WRONG way to choose an oracle card, just your way.

Incase you have been feeling unsure in how you choose, I wanted to share a few different ways you can choose your oracle card to make sure that you get the best card for you each week! Because the cards are all face down you cannot be swayed by a specific image or design. This is the perfect opportunity to let your inner guidance, rather than your eyes, lead the way. The process of choosing is an act of trust.

You might feel a subtle energetic pull towards one card, a simple gut feeling that says "that one." Or perhaps your practical mind will take over, and you'll simply choose based on position—left, middle, or right. There is no right or wrong method. Your choice may feel like a whisper from your intuition or a random, logical selection. Know that the universe works through all channels. The simple act of choosing, with intention and openness, ensures that the card you are drawn to holds the precise message you are meant to receive at this very moment.

Here are a few ways you can make your choice:

• The Intuitive Pull: Take a deep breath and quiet your mind. As you look at the photo of the three card backs, do you feel a sense of warmth, a tingle, or a gentle "knowing" associated with one of the cards? Trust that subtle energy.

• Gaze and Rest: Relax your eyes and look at the image of the three cards as a whole. Notice where your gaze naturally comes to rest. The card it lands on is the one for you.

• Positional Choice: Let your logical mind guide you. Simply decide if you are a "left," "middle," or "right" person today. The first position that came to mind is often the right one.

• Set an Intention: Before choosing, silently ask a question or set an intention. For example, "Which card holds the guidance I need for the week ahead?" With that thought in your mind, make your selection.

• The Number Method: Assign the cards numbers one, two, and three. Is there a number that feels significant to you right now? Choose the card in that position.

• The Hand Hover: If you're viewing this on a screen you can hover your hand or finger of the cards in the air. Gently sense if you feel any sensation as you hover over each card. You may feel electricity, vibration, hot/cold, a push or a pull. This is your energy telling you which card is meant for you.

Card 1 - PLAY - Have fun. Celebrate. Don’t be so serious.

I love the imagery in this card. It encapsulates fun and playfulness in our inner world and outer world. We can have fun in nature when we are outside, and we can have fun when we are inside connecting with friends and loved ones.

What is fun for you? This is a serious call to not be so serious. You need to lighten your grasp on life, release control, and let your spirit play. When we play we connect with our deeper self. When we play we live with greater purpose, and intention to our true nature.

Card 2 - ANSWER THE CALL - What is your soul calling you to do?

You are full of wisdom and knowledge. Deep within this well of wisdom your spirit is calling to you. It is reaching out to you. Can you answer the call?

Just ensure you are in a space that feels safe to move, make noise and be free within. I've noticed as we "adult", we carry weight and responsibility and we stop prioritizing fun. Fun let's us get out of our heads. It softens the weight we carry. It opens our hearts. And it reminds us of a deeper purpose. A more natural and easy way of being without needing to do all the time.
