Team,

It’s GIVEAWAY time! Our fellow JFH hero Ahmed Best (aka Jar Jar Binks and Kelleran Beq in Star Wars) and our buddy Marc Guggenheim (writer of the Arrowverse) signed their new Jar Jar comic book from Marvel for one lucky person in our community. To enter, comment “JEDI JOHN WICK” on the video on any of our @justiceforhire social platforms and I will pick a winner and DM you by Wednesday, February 17 to send you the book. This is a special gift for our @justiceforhire community so make sure you’re following to be eligible. 🤜🎥☯️

DISCLAIMER
“Jedi John Wick” is my personal propaganda for wanting to see a true Jedi martial arts film or series starring @bestahmed. This is not an official solicitation for a much needed Jedi John Wick franchise spinoff. This is for the fandom. ❤️

With Heart,

Jan aka Hero #0

Team,

Happy 2026! Starting off the year with energy, I found out JFH is in ChatGPT’s Top 1% of users worldwide.

Not because I’m chasing numbers —
but because I’m using it every day to build Justice For Hire with you.

Here’s the video about it:

Every hero.
Every villain.
Every scene.
Every idea that shows up in this world — it’s all expanding inside the new system I’m using to keep JFH alive and growing.

So when I saw that Top 1% marker, what it really felt like was a sign that what we’re doing here matters.

And honestly?
It made me want to show up even harder this year.

This is why I’m putting everything I have into the Justice For Hire feature film — not as some distant Hollywood thing, but as a movie that comes out of this community.

You’re part of that.

If you want to use the same system I use, here’s a tip I didn’t explain in the video:

The Justice For Hire Second Brain inside ChatGPT is node-based.

That means every insight, story beat, production decision, and creative breakthrough is stored as a node — a structured unit of meaning that:
• can be cross-referenced
• searched
• versioned
• and eventually crawled by AI agents

This makes any system you build future-proof and transferable.

That’s it.

That’s how Justice For Hire keeps getting sharper.

If Justice For Hire means something to you, one of the ways you can help it grow is by supporting our 501(c)(3) fiscal sponsorship page on Fractured Atlas.

That support goes directly into making the film, expanding the story world, and creating more ways for this community to show up inside the universe.

Justice For Hire

Everyone’s a hero. Step up.

fundraising.fracturedatlas.org/justice-for-hire

No pressure — just another way to be part of what we’re building together.

Thank you for being here.
We’re just getting started.

Heroes & Villains,

On Thanksgiving Day, we released the Actionverse LA recap — a snapshot of an intimate but powerful gathering that marked a real turning point for Justice For Hire. See for yourself in this video (then keep reading below):

https://youtube.com/shorts/t-iiDAqYrto?feature=share

RECAP - Justice For Hire Actionverse LA

I want to speak honestly about the event itself.

The room was big but attendance was small — intentionally so.
Not because the value wasn’t there.
But because I’m one human being with limited bandwidth to get the word out.

Between creating, shooting, editing, teaching, fatherhood, and keeping JFH and ReelwUrld alive every day, I don’t always have the capacity to rally the larger community, even when I wish I did.

Everyone in our community had access to this event.
And what happened inside that intimate room is a reminder of something I’ve been trying to communicate for years:

If more people understood the type of access, opportunity, and creative empowerment JFH offers, they would benefit from it in ways I can barely explain.

That is one of my ongoing challenges — learning how to articulate the depth of what we’re offering, the value we’ve been sharing, and the doors that are open for anyone willing to step through.

Even with a small audience, the caliber of the people who showed up was extraordinary. Leaders from:

• WWE

• Star Trek

• Immortal Studios

• the independent action filmmaking community

• world-class martial artists and creators

And one of the most meaningful moments was honoring Dan Curry, legendary Star Trek VFX Supervisor and lifelong martial artist.
For me, Dan represents a lineage — a bridge between philosophy, movement, storytelling, and the future. JFH stands on that bridge. And we carry it forward in our own gritty, grounded, human way.

But the biggest shift of all came when we screened the first minutes of the JFH feature film.

The reaction was strong. Strong enough to shift my entire focus for the next six months.
I’ll be sharing more about that later this month, because it deserves its own dedicated space.
But this is the beginning of a new chapter for our universe.

Before closing, I also want to highlight our friends at Immortal Studios, who are currently running a Kickstarter to expand their modern wuxia cinematic universe. If their work resonates with you, I encourage you to check it out and support:

https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/immortalstudios/assassin-g-3

Assassin G - friends of Justice For Hire

Thank you for watching the recap, for believing in this mission, and for being part of this movement — whether you were in the room in LA or contributing from afar through your creativity on JusticeForHire.app. Your presence is felt in every frame we create.

More updates soon. This month matters.

With gratitude, clarity, and forward motion,

Jan aka Hero #0

Stay Heroic,
Jan Lucanus (aka Hero #0)
Founder, Justice For Hire

Hey Heroes & Villains (and Clients that Hire Them),

We just hit a milestone together: 7 years of Justice For Hire.
It means everything to me that people around the world have trusted me with their time and creative energy to build something bigger than any one of us. This week we’re celebrating the anniversary with new content, behind-the-scenes drops, and a ton of love for our community, starting with this 1.5min video of what we’ve made together and where we’re going:

Since I haven’t sent out a JFH Knuckle Sandwich Newsletter since May, I want to recap our summer, but before that, I want to take another moment to tell you how much this anniversary means to me personally and how grateful I am to EACH OF YOU.

When we started, we didn’t even have our own app. Just Instagram, YouTube, the original JFH comics and shorts I made coming out of NYU, and a teaser about how the story could invite anyone to join. From there, I hosted meetups in NYC where we trained, filmed, and built this world together—half in-universe, half behind-the-scenes.

Those meetups sparked film shoots, collaborations, and a growing story centered on one truth: the world can only be saved if everyone can be a hero.

This community uplifted me through difficult times, and then I started seeing something incredible—JFH changing lives. People training as heroes were standing up to abuse, protecting the innocent, and making real-world changes.

That’s the real purpose of JFH: transforming ourselves while creating together. The films, shorts, and episodes we make are artifacts of that transformation.

And here’s the big announcement: with thousands of hours of content and characters from around the world, we now have enough to release a JFH FEATURE FILM. This dream came true almost without me realizing it. Now, I’m ready to say it out loud.

This is a historic moment—for humanity and for our community—to set an example of how to co-create, trust each other, and make playable cinema together.

So, yeah, it’s a big deal to me. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR MAKING MY DREAM COME TRUE.

Now, here’s our Summer recap:

☀️ Summer Recap

• June (LA): Two events at World Championship Karate Sports Academy near USC—with pro wrestler Zeda Zhang joining us. The energy was off the charts and you can see a teaser in our 7th anniversary video.

• July (San Diego): We hit Comic Con, filmed with our community, and have a fun and important announcement video about the JFH App on the way.

• August (NYC): We teamed up with the Legendary Cyphers crew (also JFH cast members) in Union Square. Here’s a clip of the freestyles that happened after we filmed an upcoming action scene.

🎬 Episode 9: Finding the JFH Voice

The last episode of JFH was so well received—by our own community and by creators I deeply admire like Roberto Nickson (RPN) and Macchiato Studios. Their feedback, along with yours, made me realize: we’ve finally found the tone and voice of this universe. This is the JFH Cinematic Universe we’re going to keep expanding on.

• 🎥 Watch Episode 9 here

• 🛠️ Behind-the-Scenes of Episode 9

And this week, I’ll also release a BTS breakdown of our 7th Anniversary video, showing how I created and played multiple characters on screen—while staying connected to our community-driven story.

🚀 What’s Next

• More episodes coming soon (I’ve been talking with longtime cast member Lone Wolf about integrating his content into upcoming stories—you could be next).

• More Action Scene Events expanding the story world (DM me or hit justiceforhire.com/action if you want one in your city).

• The JFH Feature Film—built from all of our contributions—is in progress. There’s still time to share your own Missions on the JFH App to be part of it.

💬 From Me to You

You always have access to me. Always.
I want your ideas In JFH. I want your scenes in JFH. I want us to keep proving that a shared cinematic universe can be built by all of us.

And whenever our content gets monetized or we get sponsorship opportunities, every JFH community member in an episode will share in the revenue.

Until then, I’m pouring most of my own resources into JFH daily (literally). For anyone that wants to support on our Patreon, I’ve put some nice perks on there from the JFH Vault (comics, exclusive videos, and more). All contributions go right back into making JFH.

Year 8 will be a game-changer.
Thank you for building this with me.

With heart,
Jan aka Hero 0

Hey Heroes and Villains!

Jan here aka Hero #0 here. We have a NEW newsletter and new Action Scene Events on both coasts and online coming up!  I’ll tell you about that, but since it’s been awhile since I’ve written one of these JFH emails, first I want you to know how happy I am to share this all with you after TONS OF SOLITARY WORK.  Making JFH the biggest show on the planet is my goal, and I want to do it with you so all of our characters can play in action scenes together on the world stage.  I started JFH because I truly believe that the superhero stories I grew up with DON’T MAKE SENSE. One hero or team of heroes can’t really save the world, but if everyone in the world became a hero… that could mean real change. You being in the JFH community means we're one step closer to making that vision a reality.  That means everything to me, so THANK YOU!

Our new Knuckle Sandwich Newsletter (or 🤜🥪 for short) is all about HOW we’re building a cinematic universe as a global community.  I’ve packed this email with important links for you to dive into everything you can do as part of our community. I’ll highlight the events first, then I’ll put a list of links you can explore below that.
